Discord

Story

• Discord was born in the smallest patch of jungle on the continent of Kazhla. Her father tried to eat her on the day she was born, for this is what Nyght Wyverns do to defective young. But RaThs would never do such things, so Discord's mother and father fought to the death over Discord. Discord's mother, Birdfin, won the battle, so she took the young Discord back home to her pack.
  
  However, Birdfin already had a bad reputation in her pack, and when she brought Discord to them, they gave her a choice: Kill that mangy half breed, or get out of here forever. Birdfin could not kill her daughter, so she was chased out of the forest by the RaThs who had once been her friends.
  
  Birdfin knew that if she returned, she and Discord would be killed, so they went where all the other banished RaThs go: A human city. The city was called Rock, and it was not very pleasant for a wild animal to live in. But they had no choice. Discord lived with her mother in the city for three years, but one day, in a fit of anger, she ran away from Birdfin and didn't go back to her.
  
  Discord was the dragon equivalent of a teen now, and she could handle herself in a city. She kept to herself, stealing food from stores and tourists, but never hurting anyone. Occasionally she would track down Birdfin and watch her, just to see what she was doing. She never seemed to be looking for Discord, so Discord never let herself be found. But one day, when Discord was watching her mother speak to a group of unfamiliar humans and dragons, her foot slipped on the roof, she fell down, and her mother captured her. After a brief yelling session, the two raptors joined the band of humans and dragons, and traveled with them for a while.
