• Overview

  Rawx is not a living being; he is actually a man-made clockwork animal. He can think for himself and control his actions, but he is not alive. On the inside, he looks like a robot or a machine, but on the outside, he looks like a small, living dinosaur. He was designed to be a military messenger bot who could run letters from one place to another, but he ended up being much smarter than he was originally intended to be. He tricked his makers into freeing him, and has been living freely in human society ever since. He may seem out of place, but in his world, clockwork animals such as him are very common. He is overlooked by nearly everyone.

• Appearance

  At only two feet long from nose to tail, Rawx is a tiny little bastard. Except for his size, he looks almost exactly like a typical raptor dinosaur, but he doesn't have that long, curved claw on his foot that all raptors have. He is rather cute and doesn't look dangerous, even though he actually is. He is colored a uniform coffee-brown all over, and has large yellow eyes. They are made of yellow sapphire. His head is shorter and slightly rounder than the head of a raptor. Rawx always wears a black fedora with a gray band, but nobody knows where he found it or why it is special to him.

• Skillage

  Since Rawx is mechanical, he can do a lot of things that flesh-and-blood creatures can't. For instance, he can withstand blows that would kill a living thing; he can run at up to 50 miles per hour almost indefinitely; and he can jump about 15 feet straight up and over 20 feet linearly. He can bite hard enough to break wood and kick hard enough to dent metal. But being mechanical definitely has drawbacks. Rawx runs very slowly in water or in humid areas; and he cannot speak, he only can make small clicking sounds in his throat. These clicks are a form of communication, but very few can understand him.

• Personality

  Rawx is mischievous, always playing jokes and stealing small things, but if he gets caught in the act he will turn very shy, and run or hide. But he is brave to the point of recklessness, and very defensive of the few humans he has bonded with. He will readily risk his life for others, even if there is no profit in it for him.
