Origin: Quatre Bornes was born on Mauritius, a french-owned island off the coast of Africa. He grew up in France but immigrated to his current state of origin about the time he turned 18. His mouther was a Mauritian, basically South African, whereas his father was French/Chinese.

Hair: Premature grey, down to chinline, parted to one side.

Eyes: Dark green, with iris similar to a cat's in that when it contracts it forms a slit instead of a smaller circle. The eyes are extremely sensitive to light; exposure to normal daytime sun is painful and blinding.
Skin: Tanned Caucasian

Other: Quatre Bornes has a diagonal slash-like scar over his face from just over his left eye over his nose to bottom of his right cheek. His grey hair is parted over the side, covering one of his bright green eyes in an effort cover his scar.
Additionally, the man has two black "whisker"-like triangular tattooes on either cheek, coming up from his chin line, and a golden ankh tattoo over his back.
Q is self conscious of his arms and legs, although there's technically nothing wrong with them, so wearing short sleeves or shorts is extremely rare.
His most defining feature, aside from his animalistic green eyes (described earlier) is his tail. It is a desaturated black/brown, possibly the color of the hair on his head before it greyed, and goes down to his knees. It is not a wolf tail. It resembles that of a husky's, as it is feathered and slightly curled at the tip. However it is much thinner and to those more keen on dog breeds would resemble a Saluki's tail the most, albeit monocolored. Saluki reference.
Known Powers/Abilities: Quatre can speak both French and English fluently, and see perfectly in the dark. His vocal chords are somewhat damaged, but he still can imitate with surprising accuracy the sounds that would come from any canine, except a howl. His sense of smell and taste are equal to that of any human's, however his hearing is much better and in tune to both higher and lower frequencies. Though not quite the range of a dog, it is a larger and longer range than a human, rendering dog whistles and other "annoying" sounds to have a detrimental effect on Q as well.
Next of course is Q's sight, which allows him to see further distances than humans but not to the extent of other "fantasy" creatures or hybrids, as he still uses a scope to aim and fire from a sniper rifle, and has no personal problems doing so. His main specialty with sight, aside from being able to see in almost perfect darkness, is his attention to detail and movement. This is possibly more linked to how his brain works than his sight by itself however, as any trained human could possibly do the same.
Limitations: As stated previously, both his hearing and sight are sensitive. Loud noises, or those outside of the normal human range will startle and potentially damage Q. For example, a normal dog whistle and a very low bass drum will annoy Q to almost the point of a mental break and frenzy. (in short bursts it's tolerable).
Q cannot see during the day without specially prescribed dark sunglasses. On rainy days it is possible for him to see without, though his senses are extremely limited. What he sees is similar to an overexposed photo; only shadows or very sharp edges are noticeable. The sunglasses allow him to function, but on an especially bright day, even these won't help him. That said, his ability to see in the dark, if he is presented with a sudden flash of light (such as lightning or a flash light) he will be startled and temporarily blinded until his eyes re-adjust.
Quatre Bornes is sensitive to drugs, in that typically a half a dose of something for him will do the same as a normal dose for someone else. In addition to this, his heart and lungs are abnormally large. If he becomes too active his blood pressure will lower to dangerous levels and he will pass out (with also risk of death in extreme cases), which is why if Bornes is expecting to run or have sex, or do something otherwise cardiovascular, he will do so only with a cigarette in his mouth and in moderation.
Speaking of cigarettes, Q has been smoking since about his 18th birthday, resulting in his voice becoming gratey. However, Bornes has also intentionally tried to train himself to speak at a lower tone than is normal for him. His normal voice is similar to an Alto, which of course is a slight bit embarrassing for human males, so his combined smoking and vocal training have made him to a gratey, gravelly, raspy tenor.
His tail is another weakness as it is extremely sensitive, having what could be called whiskers lining down the base. If stroked the right way he'll be aroused, but if pulled, tugged, or cut, it will cause extreme pain and discomfort, especially in the case of cutting.
Brief History: Quatre Bornes, while born on an african island (Mauritius), was quickly brought to France where his completely human father tried to make his son more human. When Q was born, he was particularly more "werewolfy" than he is today, and "treatments" were bestowed upon him. These with most of Q's childhood are not remembered, however, as they've been willfully pushed from his memory.
Q grew up in French military academies and was pushed to succeed his father in becoming a strategist. Q wouldn't have this however, as he wanted to become a sniper. After many fights over Q's intended occupation, a last one being where he got his scar (Father took a rapier to 'damage the face I made for you' after learning Q liked boys), Q left his home and ended up in the country where he is today.
He is a contracted killer, and while he may have quite possibly the best shot around, he isn't so great at the other needed talents of sniping, since what he knows is what he has taught himself. For this and other less-important reasons, he only accepts contracts for less than one hundred thousand dollars, which makes him a prime target to take advantage of-- and people have done it before. He is a mockery to the underground business and many consider him a fool, however he isn't dead yet so he must be getting some business.
Notes: Depending upon RP, Q is either simply a freak of nature or linked to a hellhound. His bloodline is decidedly vague whichever route it takes, simply explained by "His mother was supposedly a gypsy who was cursed."
Q could technically "transform" into a werewolf-like creature in the past, though he doesn't remember it. Present-day, he cannot transform. At least not physically. A mental transformation can be achieved in specific conditions; usually during times of extreme pain or stress. More often it's drug-induced.
Q considers himself mostly human, and prefers to view himself as human. He dislikes his body, and the tattooes he received he says were "adolescent mistakes."
