In this universe, it is a realistic world where Quatre Bornes came to New York and was picked up as a male model. In this, he is openly gay and prefers young looking boys. During an international business trip, he meets Ven Loraine, a Cambion(half-incubus), and falls in love with him. Q takes Ven back to the US, where he is assaulted by voices in his head telling him that he is a hellhound, and his mission is to destroy the beings that sabotage the veil in between "worlds".
It's loosely based on concepts from V:tM, White Wolf RPGs, and various Christian and Hindu religious concepts. My concept of hellhounds is mostly original rather than based on the lore surrounding them.
This is the roleplay that was started based on that universe, but it never finished and probably never will be, being as I kind of sucked at writing it.
Also, if you'd like to view
blatantly homosexual art, I've a gallery of the Ven and Q pairing
here. It's all SFW, it's just really, really gay. Literally.
RELATED CHARACTERS:
Ven Loraine.
An eighteen year old with horns. Originated from Germany, and was working in a bar in Scotland when Q came across him and decided to whisk him away to the United States. Ven is a sort of quirky boy. Innately curious, and while he has a mad crush on Q he also treats the man as a sort of elder brother or guardian.
Errodu.
Errodu is a necromancer holding a cursed book. He at first tries to "vanquish" Q since the man is a hellhound, but later comes up with a way to use the halfbreed to his own benefit via a curse dealt from his book. In this fashion, Q becomes a sort of familiar for Errodu.
Overslept.
Over is the earthbound appearance of
Apollyon. He is the man-er-- Demon, behind everything. He is second-in-command when it comes to the underworld, and he deals directly with the hellhounds and the protection of the veil. He has a sickly odd and twisted sense of humor, loves to grant others pain through both force, wit, and snark, as well as assert his dominance through pure madness.
He can communicate telepathically to all his hounds as well as activate their Urvans from afar. He can speak in the language of the Fravashi and cross from the underworld to Earth, although the journey is something he'd prefer not to do.
He is mostly an unseen character, but he communicates directly with Q numerous times, as he sees the halfbreed as daft, dumb, and in needing of massive amounts of retraining in the common sense area for otherbeings. He mostly appears to Q in his dreams as a shadowy figure with no true form, but when he becomes earthbound he looks like this. Outlandish indeed, but the malevolence befits him. Especially in green.
