  Full Name: Hrafn/Ravn Lágonssen. His father's name, the Sami variant of Lars, gives away his mixed heritage.
  
  Nicknames: Often nicknamed "the Reindeer Skald" due to his Lapp origin.
  
  Age: Thirties.
  
  Birthplace: Norway's northern Sami region, he claims different birthplaces to entertain himself, or perhaps to avoid norse prejudice. Was raised within norse culture but keeps Sami culture close to his heart.
  
  Build: Toned, fit, a runner's physique, yet his frame is what it is: not herculean.
  
  Height: Tall.
  
  Weight: More on the thin side, despite being healthy.
  
  Complexion: Long, hawkish features, and his skin is somewhat more tan than most of the paler norsemen.
  
  Eyes: A pleasant light blue.
  
  Hairstyle: Long wavy black hair, usually tied for comfort, or otherwise messily let loose. More often than not will have a couple of braids to go.
  
  Clothing style: Has adjusted to the standard norse fashion, but is not above using the Sami traditional clothing.
  
  Weaponry: Most often a spear and a bow.
  
  Occupation: Calls himself a Skald, but most vikings will understand why a son to a Sami is not the chronicler most chieftains would want, out of superstitious wariness towards these mysterious, shamanistic nomads.
