• Appearance

  Skittle is a rainbow gryphon, as you can see. He is red at the top of his back and neck, and the color fades through the spectrum, all the way down to blue at his toes, but there is no purple anywhere on his body. He hates the color purple. He isn't all rainbow though; his wings and eyes are solid black and he has black speckles all over the rest of his body.
  
  
  He has two small black claws on his wings, which he uses as an emergency weapon when cornered. They are normally hidden beneath his feathers, but when he is angry they stick out and become visible. He is 8 feet long and 4 feet high at the shoulder, which is about the size of a large wolf. His wingspan is about 15 feet, which is larger than all birds. His body is lithe and slender like a leopard, and not bulky like a typical gryphon's body. Most gryphons inherit their body shape from the muscular lion.

• Personality

  Skittle is almost always happy and carefree. It would take a very terrible event to make him stop being cheerful. Even on gloomy, stormy days, when everything around him looks so plain and dark, Skittle can be found playing around happily, zipping around in the sky.
  
  
  Most of his cheerfulness was inherited from his father, the rainbow god. Rainbows naturally make many people feel happier (trololol) but quite a lot of Skittle's happy personality comes from the fact that he has everything he needs in life. He has a home, love, and a pair of wings. What more could a gryphon want?
  
  
  Skittle also is very patient with others, and only rarely loses his temper. The only thing that could make him angry or upset is if something or someone threatens his beloved mate.
