  • Description

    She's a petite girl whom has a fragile heart from years of trauma. She doesn't stand very tall, nor strong. She's what her mother calls a"featherweight" and is very clumsy.

    Her personality changes like the moon. The same cycle, but beautiful nethertheless. She's easy to hurt, so watch what you say unless you want to break the girl's spirit.

    Her face is slightly heartshaped, and her eyes have a slight almond shape, but tend to round out around the middle of her eyelids. Her bangs sidesweep sometimes from over her right eye to her left, parting up the right part of her head.

    She has a teenage way of dressing. She likes long striped shirts, black tanktops and any kind of jeans as long as they're blue or black.

    In Medieval times, she has the same hair and eye color, though her anatomy is different. When in the presence of water, her legs become a long glittering tail, ended by a ribbonesque fluke. She is able to control small bits of water, up to about five gallons at a time. It doesn't matter whether it's ice, water, or snow.

  • Biography

    She was born February 19, along with her brother, Zachary Steele. She had grown to be a pretty little thing, and some people agreed. From the age of six to twelve, she had been sexually molested by her own father, resulting in him leaving her family.

    On the eve of their thirteenth birthday, her brother became outraged when the man showed up, storming out of the house. He forgot neither he, nor his sister, could swim. Upon stumbling into the dark, he tripped over a fallen log, into the river flowing down from the city. Police came the next day to inform Yveine and her mother, whom blamed it all on Yveine.

    To the day her mother resents Yveine, but treasures her since she's the only child she has left. Some kids called the girl "cursed," and they stayed away from her. The lack of attention made her very shy, along with the years of abuse and endless torment of the knowledge of her past.


    Coming from an unknown region in the ocean, she was isolated in a small lake in the forest. A river streamed into her pond as a waterfall, giving her a curtain and a cavern to live in. She's able to change into human form to go into he town nearby, but prefers not to unless it's direly necessary.
