As of right now, it can be pretty hard to find a group to join. I know that there is find rp which can point out groups, but that only gives you a small slice and looking through the list is a hassle.

So how about a separate forum where people can advertise their groups and people looking for one can browse knowing that these groups are certainly active and can ask questions that can be seen by other players.

For myself, this would be really useful because I have been hesitant to look for groups because if I search new groups, then they are likely not done and if i go too far, i am likely to find a bunch of inactive groups. I also can't be the only one to think this.

From my understanding, groups will have a much nicer search feature in the future so it will be easier to find what you're looking for. Also, RP Discussion or Looking For RP are forums where group owners can advertise their groups - if a topic is kept active (without spamming of course!) then it will be easy to find.

I don't think we have enough active (public) groups seeking new members and willing to advertise to warrant another forum being dedicated to it and monitored by the mods, although I could be mistaken. I do know that the forums we have already cater to this concept however.

Group search tools are in process and will be out very soon, in addition with better tools to advertise groups. We won't be adding a new forum, however.
