What are the thoughts and feelings of the rpr on cyborg and android/robot types of characters?

To those that RP as these kind of characters, I'd like your thoughts as well on what makes a good one of these.

I personally think of cyborgs as a interesting issue in rp. At what point is the person no longer a person? More machine than man?
Valid point. I do remember one written setting where it was established that if a human has replaced more than 50% of its flesh with cybergenetic parts, they are no longer classified as cyborg or human, but a robot as they basically no longer require their born body to live. So guess that could be the physical line?

Now, to ponder when it's a real thought or well emulated one by one's internal processors, or whatnot is something mindcrackling. After all, in a high scifi RP, an android/robot/mechaniloid can have a learning AI similar to a human brain. So, in such a world, what could be a genuine response and/or thought of a man and what is merely an AI generated one through correlation of experiences and database matching to make the best course to a situation?

Though I may be the wrong person to reply since I don't have any cyborg characters, though my chars work on similar veins. Is a ressurected person a living entity, shabby clone, a pretender or an undead one after all? Or if an undead were to achieve perfect mimicry of living, would it count?
