Hi guys, I know we have a lot of creative people on this site and I could use some advice.
I'm creating little description pages for all the aliens in my roleplay group, complete with pictures. I've got all of them done except the last one, the Lacertians. (To those of you who speak Latin, I know it's a stupid name. I'm changing it.
)
The problem is, I've put a lot of thinking into their lore, but not much into their appearance. The other aliens I've been doodling in the margins of notebooks for a while, but I've never drawn these guys once. I've decided to go with a velociraptor kind of look. But there's a problem: Clothes. I have no idea what kind of clothes I would put on these guys. Some kind of vest, probably, but beyond that, I'm drawing a blank, so I'm turning to you guys for some help.
Here is a quick drawing of the Latzei. (No shading/texture/cleanup,details) If anybody has ideas for how to dress them, I'd love to hear them. Thank you!

Well, I always look to sci fi settings
Maybe you could give them drape like clothing?

That would probably work. I think trying to put any kind of pants on them would just look awkward, so they'll probably just wear jackets and vests and cloaks and whatnot. That's not to say that other suggestions wouldn't be welcome, though - the more variety in clothes, the better!
What about some kind of antenna hat for irony.
This is what I went with, but I can always change it later.
