When you view a characters profile, at least on my phone, anyway, the buttons to go back home are miniscule, they don't resize to fit the page. I don't know if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong, or...?
Character templates currently aren't optimized for mobile (that's why Kim is proceeding with the modernization initiative!) -- I can get to the buttons more easily if I zoom in, but your situation may be dependent on the browser and device you're using. In any case, it's unlikely you're doing anything wrong. 
As Sanne mentioned, it's neither a bug or something you're doing wrong, it's just not extant yet. That will be fixed very soon.
