It'd be really helpful to have an option to delete items in your inventory that you don't put on display or intend to use. Mostly, this pertains to event items, since I have quite a selection from Epic Week that I don't know what to do with, and using them won't discard them.
You're right, we should have this. Maybe with a week long undo option, so as to prevent terrible, terrible accidents.
Regarding epic week items, you may want to gift them to the group Goblin Fighters Armory 2015, which exists to store un-needed weapons and healing items, and make them easy to retrieve for anyone who needs them. Though there is no battle right now, perhaps there will be one in future, and the defenders will need all the help they can get.
