I was looking through the store the other day and was wondering.
What do the oils and staffs of epicness do? And can you make more than one character without buying the extra character slot?

Here is a FAQ about epic membership.

All users can create 10 characters. People with epic can create an additional 10 characters (or alternatively you can buy individual character slots)

To piggy back off of what Claine said:

When you get epicness, the character slots that you get are temporary in a sense (as soon as you don't have epicness, you can't use those slots anymore, and the characters that were made with those slots will be uneditable until you get enough slots again.)

As for character slots, they are permanent! If you buy a character slot, it won't run out. The same can be said with pages (you get a few pages with Epicness) which are permanent if you buy just the pages (which... They are pretty useful if you like putting a LOOOT of info on your profiles) and they are shared with EVERY characters (if you buy one page from the store, you get one more page for every character that you have/will make.)

Minor correction: Epicness does not provide any extra page slots, temporary or otherwise. Pages are only available as an à la carte item.

Epicness does provide you with the ability to upload 30 extra gallery images per character, though, for the duration of your epic membership.
