A woman in her late 20's had just been dragged out of her work by a demon in human form. As soon as the demon let her go she took some of its energy that would weaken it and give her enought to last an attack. She was about to run when the demon clawed her in the side but it did slow her down she still fled bleeding heavily to a tree, it was dark outside. She turned herself tarnsparent so the demon wouldn't see her. The demon came by dragging its body from the lost if energy. \"C'mon witch the scent of blood is thick in the air and it wouldn't be hard to find you.\" The demon sneered following the scent of Abby's blood. \"Oh, someone help me! I'm not ready to die!\" Abby though praying that someone would hear her thoughs or at least see the blood on the ground.
The Wraith didn't deal in common affairs; though, as its gargoylesque form crouched over the city with sinister sneer, it witnessed that which it couldn't ignore. The attack upon the female was unforgiveable in its code of ethics. Invisible spiritually due to hs intense mental training, it would take pure physical sense for the demon to detect the incoming bolt intended to strap its foot to the ground, eerily, to my spirits, it still acted as if of spirit, binding its foot to the ground. Unless properly dispelled, the spike--if it landed through the foot--still held attrobutes of the wraith and his sut: that which was physical would not be influenced by the metaphysical, even if minor bindings could still occur on the inverse. He held no spiritual signature, no intense power, but rather lingered as a rooftop signature that approximated the original trajectory. He stood, voice a warp of darth vader, modern batman and a tin can's echo. "So do you." smell of blood, at least. "Retreat or feel wrath. And wraith."

The demon sneered at the new voice turning its attetion to whatever was out there. Abby put a hand to her side where the demin fot her and thanjed high heavens that someine had came to help her, she didn't have any of her stuff she needed to fight. "Dismiss yourself, this is none of your concern it is between me and the witch." The demon sneered in the direction the voice came from.
"Dismiss myself?" even the highly warped voice mocked it with its very disbelief. "I'm human, you're ghoul. whatever you say bounces off me and dispels you from this dimension, motherf'cker." his hand was poised, palm out and braced under the elbow by the opposite wrist in a recognizeable ki stance. "Try me, or let the woman go. Those are your only choices. I will release you if you choose the latter. If you abuse the trust and even look ill at her for a moment, don't think I will hesitate to erase you from every dimension you even think you ever knew." bluffing? Try to discern that past the mutating voice. Yes, no, did it want to even try?
The demon was annoied by having to find Abby not to metion having a human come and try to protect her. "Ignorant human you dare to challage me? I'm a demon it would be too easy to kill you." The demon chuckled, Abby rolled her eyes feeling like that the demon was the ignorant one not the human. "I have no time for this I need this witch before she can heal her wound and get away." The demon knew about how Abby could heal herself with her magic and she began to shake her breathing ragged so she covered her mouth and nose to quiet it some.
...somehow, the demon thought it could antagonize him. He, on fronts of human and abysmal wars alike... Could only laugh at it. The vocal distortion perverted the sound into something that may have even made a devil's skin crawl if they knew not he was human; and even if he was, how must he have been chuckling? The small leap he took from the two-story rooftop resulted in a pavement crater as though a few tons had hit the tiny epicenter, crackrs radiating outward as he walked calmly along it in bizarre hunched stance. "Really..." it scoffed, without even questioning. The forward hand exposed in martial stance coaxed the devil in with a few curled fingers of 'come hither'. He didn't need to smile. His twisted helm already did it for him. "One last warning. I faced apocalypse. You aren't even a spit in the bail-bucket. You have more to worry about than her. Go." his stance infered preparation for battle, feral and poised in spite of its hunch, even its feet spread for easy movement. Again, he held no astral(c)
--signature, as if made of rock; no, less, as rock even held history of a planet, and this entity seemed as transparent as if it did not exist. It clearly did, and yet... well, mysteries are fun, no? (aaaand i sadly gotta sleep, gotta work in a fw hours, sorry. -_- will try to slip my fone to work and play.)
(Its okay, everybody has to go to sleep sooner or later.) Abby could feel her powers weqken from loss of blood parts of her were showing while others were not. The demon beared its teeth in the direction of the voice. "I have no time for this, all need is the witch and I'll be on my way. Leave now before I have to kill you." The demon growled then sniffed the air for where the smell of Abby's blood was. The demon caught a glance at hr arm that had became solid then transparent. The demon smriked and walked over to the tree Abby was hiding behind and grabbed her by her hair. "You damn witch, show yourself." Abby's powers wore off and she became seeable.
The demon failed to listen, and only sputtered the same threat. The extended hand gripped a fist, pulled back and punched--from afar. Hydraulically powered arms launched a spike the length of his forearm, with it carrying an extension of his will. That which was not inherent to laws of the physical world would suddenly be forced to acknowledge his impliments as if they were. Shooting like a harpoon, his warning shot went for the waist line, hoping for a crippling blow. "Next time I'll hit central." the wraith bellowed with distortion, approaching with haggard posture. "And repeating yourself is sign of mental incontinence. The next one will also have banishing oil. Go."
The demon stumbled backwards at the frist blow and let go of Abby making her fall to the ground. The demon beared it's teeth at the hand that hit it. "I only need the witch, I won't leave till she is mine, her blood and soul are needed for a ritural." The demon searched for a way to fight back but all it could was what looked like the figure of a hand, it was dark and the demon was half blind. Abby looked over to where the demon had stumbled backwards and the hand that had hit it. She was confused and even more scared, her heart bounding against her rib cage. She though that whatever was fighting the demon that was after her might be after her as well, she didn't know but she backed away till her back hit against the tree.
He had actually swung from mid range; but the demon was blindish and the confusion was understandable since the pike that launched hit like a hefty punch, with piercing. During its thrashing, he looked towards the girl. Fearing him was natural; even his wife feared the suit: a thoroughly convincing demon with glowing blue eyes and perverse grin. It was meant to strike fear into who he hunted. "Run." he instructed her simply. As the demon tried to stand, he swung his foot in horizontal kick, trying to knock it back down. "I don't know if you can bleed to death; if you can I suggest shutting up, sitting down and letting me bind that wound. Leave her be and I won't kill you. Come after her again and I will." he warned, still in battle ready stance.
The demon glared at who his attacker could be. "I'll be back for her." He ran off in another direction away from the two people. Abby stared in the direction the demon left gripping her bleeding side then looked in the direction the voice and attacks came from. Her vision was growing foggy and her breathing had grown ragged, she couldn't think. She leaned back against the tree trying to think and gathering all the magic in her body to use to heal herself but she couldn't her mind had grown foggy and clouded.
He turned to her, only to see her faultering. "Hey!" he rushed the short distance to her, reaching out for an arm to support or even catch her if she fell. It had gorilla thick forearms, and folded fabric that held the potential for wings. "Hey, stay with me." he paused. His distorted voice probably didn't help. Using a few internal commands, he shut off the modulator and let his voice exit: appropriate to a 30somethind domestic strongman like him. What were the complete totality of her injuries? "...shit. Come on, stay awake. I'll take you somewhere. My bike is nearby. I'll carry you." he didnt just offer, he took up on it and tried to hoist her. He felt cold and metallic. ((but yeah, full list of whats bleeding and where, please.

Abby flinched at the guys touch. "I-I'll try...." She choked out. She had three deep claw marks on her left side below her rib cage and was bleeding heavily. Abby was shaken up and confused at the turn of events, she didn't know why her magic was fialing her, it never did till now. She started to pant and tighten her grip on her bleediing side to slow down the flow of blood.
He was far from out of shape. He cut into the nearest alleyway in a sprint. A few turns and he skidded to a stop near a dumpster. "Manifest accurst." the voice command might almost seem magical, with the nanocams flickering a black cycle with blue spectral flames into existance. He rested her down to lean her against the wall next to it, while fishing through his cycle's compartments. He had basic first aid for a variety of reasons. He squatted near her, opening a few small kits. One housed a thick roll of gauze and some creams, others more medication. "I'm just putting some astringent on it in case of poison, antibiotic and anesthetic." he did just as he claimed, wrapping it tightly and sinching it. He wasn't an expert, but hey, he played some Snake Eater. That counts, right? he helped her lean back and forth, wrapping it until the long tape roll ran out, providing several layers so tight it might make large breaths difficult, but applied pressure to the wound to stem the bleeding. "I can take you to a ---
hospital. I'm no doctor... But i do know some basics." mostly due to dealing with his own injuries on the job. "I'll stay near." unless she argued, he hoisted her up. "just sit up for one minute." he hoisted her onto the long seat, and then mounted the cycle in front of her. "Hold onto me, and keep close." if she compacted as said, a metallic clanking announced metal unfolding from the base like fans, from which arcs of tinted glass covered them in a cockpit. "Just talk to stay awake. Let me know you're with me. What's your name?" he tried to engage her with basic info while the bike pulled out.
Abby held onto the guy like he told her but she was slighly shaking without relizing it. "A-Abby Sanders, I don't need a d-doctor, I'll be f-fine I just need to-" Abby stopped herself knowing that her magic wasn't working on healing her which meant something was wrong. She couldn't believe that her magic was fialing on her, she knew that the demon had to do something with it. Her vision was getting more foggy and was going in and out of focus, her breathing was harder and faster as if she was trying to keep air going through her body.
"...shit." he grumbled. He hit a com button on the cycle. "Revenant, got a wounded passenger. Heading toward the hospital, can you make a call to a civilian? That Gabe fella that heals and turns everything pink? tell him to make it to memorial, a.s.a.p." the wording was clear: not an Ophois call. Soon enough, gabriel would get a phonecall with the instructions. Regardless, he tore through streets with prowess on the quickest path to the emergency room. The cockpit didnt seem purely grass, but projected street and alley grids with dots indicating nearby traffic. He'd have to take sharp turns, but he also made record time. "I'm Wraith. So... What was that thing? Looked monstrous. No chance it's poisonous, I hope? The astringent could get surface level poisons out. The hospital and my contacts can do the rest. I'm not exactly magical." despite his appearance, his voice was utterly human.
"It was a d-demon. I don't know w-what it did to me but s-some how it was able to get my m-magic to fail me and not heal my w-wound like it always does." Abby was trying to hold on for dear life as hard as she could but she lost too much blood and she was still bleeding, close to right through the bandages. She was panting and her heartbeat was dangerously high, she really wished she could get her magic working. "I don't k-know what kind of d-demon it was but I d-do know it was t-trying to get me h-hurt so I wouldn't be a-able to use magic, if I didn't turn myself transparent then I would be a-able to close up the w-wound some." Abby's voice was ragged and weak from the bleeding and confusion. She closed her eyes tight since she couldn't trust her vision anymore she would have to trust her other senses te best se could. The pain in the left side had speard to almost every inch of her body making harder to just focus on one thing at a time.
