Hello everyone 
What this is about:
I'm currently tempted to try creating a group roleplay!
But I don't feel confident enough to do this on my own - especially considering global politics and stuff which have to be involved in the setting I had in mind. Though the focus doesn't have to be on political events in the roleplay itself, I want to have a solid construct of the setting in which this all will take place.
So if anyone might be interested in this, we could consider doing this together

What I have in mind for the roleplay:
- an IC group for roleplaying; maybe I will make it epic if people are interested!
- playing in the group's forums; maybe alternate side stories in PM, if someone wants to do that
- low-level dystopia; focus on character development, social interaction, adjusted culture, and political resistance against force of government / occupation force; maybe including long-term consequences of (nuclear) weapons and war itself
- set after some kind of WW3 or something similar; low-tech in the near future; post-war city setting with ruins etc.
- there might be chances to include additional features like... mutations of either or both, humans that might gain some kinds of powers from radiation or a new flora and fauna with dangerously mutated animals / creatures...
- some kind of reference might be Fallout; but like... our very own Fallout!
What I'm searching for:
- someone to assist me with doing this by providing political and socio-political theses and ideas
- someone with knowledge or maybe rather much reasonable imagination about politics and how they COULD develop in the future - to make it sound possible and in a way it might be working decently
- of course it's a work of fiction, and not everything has to be THAT realistic, but if I would make up something like that it simply would not work xD
- simply someone friendly who likes talking about weird conceptions for a dystopian setting in general
- someone with many ideas that don't have to be set in a global context yet
- someone for brainstorming and sharing ideas with - as well as someone to chat with about anything related to this world-building concept
What I will be in charge of
- kind of everything you don't want to do
- in the best case we will be an equal team and be discussing everything and stuff!
- I will pay for epicness xD
- I'm absolutely up to all kinds of writing informational text, designing the pages and contents, writing up the rules, managing everything -- but I'm not interested in being some kind of "boss" or something! We rather could do this together.

Believe it or not, I am very into politics and follow political happenings around the world. Not to mention I love dystopian settings and imagining what the near future will be like.
When I first read your post, I immediately thought of the Divergent Trilogy and how their government was so flawed and dysfunctional. Is this the type of world/setting you were considering or thinking about?
Also, I believe that for this type of role play, you will need a government who discriminates against a race, belief, species etc... Religion may be a bit sensitive however if we can think of something where discrimination happens I think that is a good starting point. And of course with any discrimination there has to an uprising that eventually leads to the downfall.
On another note, you mentioned WW3 and nuclear weapons; I think if we went down this path it would be based very much on today's society... and maybe not as a dystopia RP.
Some quick ideas that come to mind are:
1. a faction/group based system like the ones in Divergent and Hunger Games - may be too clique for your liking but keep in mind this is very easy and creative to set up.
2. after WW3 takes place and the world is on the verge of collapse, the last hope for humanity is a group of rebels...
3. because of science, a new race/specie has been born. Some are for and against it...causing uprisings and government corruption.
These are just some very quick, loose ideas. I am very interested in this type of RP so in the meantime I will have a think of some other ideas.

ooh let me help i follows some politics and what not, i have some expirence with Political Scenarios and Games, and we could try a Post Hitler's Germany Dystopia for a More Futuristic Setting ?"
