((just a brief description of your character, their hopes/intents, and them accepting the robes so that they might begin to learn.))
((the other members of the 'cult' are mostly there as a resource. after a few lessons, it will be assumed that your character can read the books they are allowed to read, and ask more 'common' questions themselves,permitting them to get to interaction with the 'sins'. though higher level magics, and any kind of Wrath magic have a bit more of a tighter grasp around them, and so they would need to try and ask about them, with the possibility of being denied...))
((or, if you're ok with every detail being rp'd out, and all questions/books being fully answered, so that knowledge is more 'specific', we can do that to. I generally prefer the higher detail rps anyway.))

Maligno sighed, rubbing his eyes as he sat up in bed, he knew, or at least thought, today was going to be a long day. He was going to be learning of Envy today. He got up and got dressed, putting on a normal outfit of a t shirt and cargo pants along with a pair of sneakers. He ate breakfast before leaving and walking to the museum which the school was located under. He never really was much of a social person so he was normally all alone, making it easy for him to go do such things like this without drawing much attention.

Mal watched and listened to the teacher carefully, "Alright then..." He looked down at the circle, hesitating a little but he then began to move into place, then starting the ritual, chanting the words softly. He offered up the items as he started the ritual, knowing in the back of his mind that this can possibly go fairly wrong if something is not placed correctly or such.

Maligno blinked looking up at the man, expecting the booming voice was a product of pride, "My name is Maligno. I am ready to join you." He took the robe he was given and put it on, looking at the one obviously leading envy. "Thank you for giving me the honor to learn this magic."

He glanced around watching them, "So then you are of sloth... I'll assume it is the easiest if that is where I am told to start. So how will we begin then? The sooner I can master the arts the better correct?" He grinned a little, seeming more like one that wants to follow pride than envy.

Sloth isn't Picky. Go ahead and try to pick three objects that you think don't appeal to the Realm of any one Sin."

Could have been for gluttony but now it would be more for famine if he was a sin. An old shoe? Could have been envy or pride but it is too degraded for pride and you certainly won't be envious /of/ it. Lastly... You? Considering you are a follower that could infact make you an ideal offering wouldn't it?" He grinned at his little joke.

And you are also doing well in trying to guess relations to the Sins in objects. your first two objects, since they are both forms of trash, will work perfectly fine. and as for looking to me, well..." *they dig around a bit in their pocket* "I've got some pocket lint. that will work for the third."

Mal glanced over at him, "Not hard to know, after all. Gluttony is a sin. Cannibalism is a thing so it only makes sense. Plus you can also look at people as their attributes instead of their matter." He looked over at the lint, taking it. He thought for a moment and grinned, "Okay I'll use the boot as the catalyst. It has a potential for envy. Then the other two as fuel." He placed them into the respective circles, "Am I correct? Or is my optimism for naught?"
"in general, the fuel has a greater effect on which Sin is being called upon. And yes, attributes may often be more important than the actual material. As for the boot having Envy potential, well numerous things from other Sins fall into the realm of Envy. Envy is the lowest default available. If a sacrifice is unable to to go to any of the others properly, and its also outside the realm of Sloth, then it might call upon Envy. as far as I know. I don't particularly study Envy."

Mal nodded a bit when he finished, "So would it be wrong to say you choose to master the easiest route instead of challenging yourself? Or did you have another motive?" He looked at the orb curiously for a moment, "Makes sense only a pride orb was found... Pride is so full of it's self that it decides that it will be only for it. Nothing would be as good." He sighed taking the orb then moved back to the circle. He held out the orb and closed his eyes, focusing his will through the orb to attempt to offer up the items to which ever sin it appeals to.
