A bit of a advert and a bit of a role call for potential or existing friends here on RPR.

Is anyone a part of Discord, the newer, nicer and more polished version of Skype? I'm looking to increase my meager circle of two friends there.

I've heard of Discord and all but I prefer Team Speak personally, I may consider getting into Discord though whenever soundboards are introduced ;P

The app store says there's a Discord app. "The chat for gamers" I think is how it's described. Is that the same thing? Everyone keeps talking about it, but I haven't actually looked into it yet.

Oh yeah, it is! You can use it on the computer without the app, though.

I too have Discord! It's a lot easier for me to use on desktop than skype, which has been glitching out as of late...

Speaking of Discord... I can't seem to be able to open it on my phone (iPhone 5) since the update. Anyone else having this issue?

Heyyy you guys should check this out. This is such a small RP community so it'd be cool if we could all get to know eachother better. I know a couple of us are on Discord almost all the time in that server.

Just to echo some of the sentiments already voiced here, Discord is definitely far more stable and reliable than Skype is, in my experience.

Both on PC and mobile.

It does pretty much the exact same thing, only better.

Except call phones.

I loooove Discord. I have a super nerdy server actually! We talk about cosplay and movies and games and nerd stuff. It's a good time. I'm hoping to soon work in an RP / Game system using the available bots
