So I'm in a Kaiju themed rp group with Conan Bell. He posted in a thread about thinking up new Kaiju, and suggested making something that might be able to properly stand up to his Angel character, Eliyah. I suggested a sort of haunted Graveyard that could from into a giant monster and an idea hit me.
Like the title said, has anyone ever played a location as a character before? Has anyone else had an idea similar to this?
I haven't seen anyone playing a character that's a location, but I have seen similar concepts in a movie or game or two. Off the top of my head, the haunted house from the movie Monster House which would probably be a more restricted example. And MEtroplex, a Transformer that turns into part of a City, also comes to mind, but again he's a more restricted example as he isn't the city himself.
So I'm just curious if anyone else has had ideas like this before.
