I've posted in a lot of forums asking critique on my characters, yet they never seem to ever get any replies. So I fancied trying here, since this place is a really friendly and close community. Hopefully I'll get some critique.

I'm just generally wanting to know if my character's could have some improvement on their backstories/design/personality/etc. I'm always wanting to improve on them, and make them very flexible for RP and stuff, yet hold a lot of lore and personal details that make them recognisable and unique.

So far, I've only really gotten stuff for Primrose, Bhaltair, Angelo and Velia, so they would be the best places to start.

Others, like The Arctic Sage, Jinan and Victor Lunith have little info but can/might get some critique?

So yeah. Any kind of critique is welcome here writing/development-wise, since I've never really gotten any constructive criticism in RP before. :D
I really like that your profiles tell a bit about the characters, but not too much so that there is still things to find out through RP. I also really love your art style, it's always made your characters seem really cute and approachable to me :)
On the Arctic Sage: Does he/they have a wolf form that doesn't require possessing a wolf? Is that image it? What does he/they look like when he/they's not in a host? You said "normally takes the form of a wolf" but then you said "possesses the bodies of deer/rabbits/birds". So I was wondering if that wolf form has the same requirements as the other animals. Also, does the host know of his/their presence? Does a pact have to be made or does he/they just take them over without their permission or knowledge?

While having to find a host helps prevent an OP character, I don't think it's too OP for a spirit to be able to have multiple forms. A mortal would be, but it wouldn't hurt to just nix the needing a host thing for this character imo.

@Loki - Awww this means a lot. ;u; Thank you for the kind words! <3

@Dragoncat - ah, thank you for asking this. It would appear I haven't made it clear enough on his profile.

Arctic can possess any dead animal body. That also includes humans. Sometimes he may have to slaughter an animal first before he can inhabit the body.

So the host won't ever know, since their soul is long gone before Arctic takes over.

Arctic's magic can also effect the body they inhabit, making the corpse last longer. After all, ice is known to preserve meat and such.
I see! He must prefer wolves though, right? And if he's not in a body, does he look like anything? A glowing wisp or nothing at all/invisible?

It would be interesting if he was a wolf when he was alive. Of course he probably wouldn't remember. But that would explain why it's most common/easy for him to appear as a wolf.

I've also made a topic seeking character feedback, if you could return the favor that'd be great :)
I'm honestly in love with Bloody Odin, he seems like a villian with potential. Perhaps give him some more detail? We're you also planning on doing serious plots with him or perhaps comedy ones?

Aw thank you!!

His profile is still a wip, as I gotta add more explanation to his family and such. He's a different muse, one I have never tried before, so I am excited to use him.
(One being; the reason he despises magic so much. His family abused transmutation, an illegal magic to get where they are and rid of anyone who stood in their way.)

Also, both serious and comical would be great settings! Imagine a serious psychopathic man getting into hilarious antics of trying to murder, but failing every time.

In all seriousness, it sounds like his family is part of the Magical Mafia haha.

Ouch! The blows to his pride! It sounds like a hilarious idea and could gain some more insight. XD

I will admit, I replied to your search thread an in all seriousness I would live to to with you, it's just I have a big lack of characters. But reading through yours and seeing so many(33? Holy Guacamole) is wonderful. I haven't gone though them all, but your diversity is impressive and I applaud you. Maybe bring some of your less used characters to the front? Could provide new muse.

Do you have any characters you want looked at in particular? Rather bored at the moment and I have time to poke around. ^-^
