Venturing across the world as a travelling shaman, Manaka is on the path of learning about spirits, demons, terminologies, and what other shamans, mystics, etc. do outside of Japan. She does a few odd jobs here and there -- mostly involving the misadventures of dealing with other spirits, yokai, and demons -- though it is all rewarding nevertheless. Though Manaka is not in search of new friends, perhaps she can be swayed.
Hey there, I'm looking for RPers that enjoy magic and otherworldly happenings in the modern world. Demons and spirits definitely work as well, and are encouraged if looking to meet with Manaka. Characters that cannot see spirits, demons, and such are also encouraged -- especially if you want something that challenges the beliefs of that character; or they can just think Mana a woman with a few screws loose -- up to you!
I am not looking for romance, simply new meetings, and perhaps maybe some people (or spirits) that Manaka can maybe call a friend.
Manaka also travels the world, so any setting on Earth is fine by me.
I'd prefer to do RPs over PM or even in Google Docs... Skype or Discord might also work, if you're into that? Though, I don't much like giving out information for the latter two.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.

*Literally slams Fawkes here* I've been wanting to put Fawkes in more rp's so I could figure out his character more. And I think it'd be interesting if this rp took place in Japan, as I find sticking Fawkes into settings with unfamiliar mystical critters to be an interesting idea for a salty British Zombie
