Hi! I'm looking to do a modern RP with my character Libby. I don't really know what I want to do but all I know is that I don't really want too much violence and I don't want the setting of this RP to be in High School. High School can be incorporated in the RP, but I'd like the main setting to be somewhere else.

I don't care if there's romance or not; it could just be about friendship.

I'm so down for a modern RP. My character Anna would fit in.

I don't know how much drama you want in this considering my characters backstory is heavily filled with drama, but I'm down if you are.

This sounds like fun, and I think it'd be perfect for my character Matthias.

Sounds fun and i think Jojo or Jaxson would be good for it.

So does anybody have any ideas? I currently can't think of any.

Does a survival situation sit well with any/everyone? I was thinking a war or apocalypse, or if anyone wants to expand on these ideas, they can.

To expand on that, I don't know about a war since she said "not too much violence," but if we did an apocalypse (maybe like a zombie apocalypse or something?), that'd be kinda cool if we focus on them and their relationships instead of a lot of fighting. Kinda like in that webcomic "No End" (if you haven't read that, I really recommend it. You can read it for free on Tapastic).

Sounds good to me. Where would the setting be? On Earth, or a different planet, or some random location?

Probably Earth? Well, we should ask Tamara and the others who are joining if they're okay with this setup, but yeah, I think it'd be pretty cool if it were an apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic setting on Earth.

Also, heads-up to the moderator person for this group (Tamara, I think), I think I'm gonna use Lucas for this one.

What do you think about the setting?

It's great! I like that it's on Earth. But are we doing the Zombie Apocalypse? If not, what else could it be?

If we're still doing something apocalyptic, maybe it could be a post-war or post-nuclear war setting where there aren't many survivors. Or it could be after some kind of plague that wiped people out and everyone's scrounging for non-contaminated food and water and some kind of vaccine.

Or, if you don't want the apocalypse theme, we could look at some other things. Example: if you had something more civil in mind, maybe they're all just in the wrong place at the wrong time and something happens to make them stick together.

I think I like the post-war idea.

So, do you think this would be the day that the war ended or a few years later?
