Hey folks, what's happening? I used to RP quite a bit in past years but the site I frequented is all but crickets these days, unfortunately. I really enjoyed this is a hobby and a friend of mine recently recommended this site to me. It's weird being the stranger in a community for a change, but you all seem like nice people. If you'd like to know anything about me, please don't hesitate to ask!

Hey MSochist, pleasure to meet you! Actually no, "boxman" is a lame reference to one of my own personal writing projects.

This forum style of roleplaying is somewhat new to me. I'm more used to participating in groups with multiple threads that take place in the same universe, and in these threads the participants tend to have an end goal in mind and take turns as they RP. If that makes any sense. Here the threads seem more loose and accessible, which is really cool, though I haven't sampled at all that many just yet. Are there such "structured" RPs on this site too?

Sure there are! There is even a group feature that helps with structured roleplays. In regards to looking for partners for said structured roleplays, just make an advertisement here! I'm sure you'll find some people ^^ Do you have anymore questions?
