Is that right? Repositite, perhaps? Anyway. My Alias is Adoxography or Adox. I've been rping for the past 8 years here and there - I even help staff a rp site now. Nevertheless, I'm always looking for a new plot.

Most of my rps are historically based or take place after the world has ended, but I like a little bit of everything.

My other interests include film and music. If I haven't seen it or heard it, I'll probably be excited to hear about it. My favorite shows are: The 100, Orange is The New Black, Orphan Black, Shameless, Grey's Anatomy, and The L Word. My Favorite bands are: Twenty One Pilots, The Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, Coast Modern, Fall Out Boy, Childish Gambino, and The Front Bottoms.

Actually, yes. Just about the roleplaying aspect so far though - When you reply to a thread looking for more roleplayers, do people make new characters for each rp and keep their favorites on their profile, or is it more customary to manipulate a character on their profile to fit that plot? Is roleplaying done more commonly on this website or on another site?

Groups? Is this a feature that people use a lot? What are they used for?

It's hard to say, as both are done quite commonly. In regards as to where roleplaying is done, again, it's hard to say, but I believe that most roleplay is done here. You always have the option of taking the rp to another platform, though.

Yes, groups are used just as commonly as forum and PM roleplay. Groups are used for mainly worldbuilding purposes. Say I had a world with multiple countries. I have some players who start out in a different country. How am I supposed to keep track of all that in a forum? A group helps with that by offering you the ability to use many forums. You can make one for each country and make threads in said forums for places such as shops and houses.

To answer your most recent question, whenever you post or reply to a topic you can choose on the bottom whether to receive an email or to get activity feed notifications (going to the home page, you'll see whenever someone comments on that topic). Hopefully this helps!

RPR is such a friendly community, and it's always great to see more people finding their way here! Hope we get the opportunity to get something started at some point! I love historical RPs as well
