Nestled in its' own corner of a radiation-laden wasteland, Trigeda struggles against man as well as nature to survive on an Earth reeling from the aftermath of an atomic war. Spanning over a variety of different terrain and ideals, the 6 tribes of the Coalition find themselves pitted against each other when a particularly devastating hurricane season knocks an unknown poison into the river shared by each of the clans. Warriors begin falling ill and crops begin to die. Immediately, the shaky trust between the leaders is tested and the Commander of Trigeda is tasked with sorting the matter. She calls each of the tribe leaders to the capitol in order to decipher the origin of the illness now spreading through her people like wildfire. The Commander's strength is tested when the chief of Azgeda, the mountain clan, conspires with the chief of Ingranrona, the caravan of raiders, to assassinate their leader. Meanwhile, those back in the clans grapple with sickness and fear to keep their families together.
This roleplay is loosely based off of the culture and lifestyle of the Grounders from the TV series The 100. This is a universe we are still steadily creating with the help human history and theories regarding the effect of radiation and distress on humans and wildlife alike. Their ideals and practices are akin to the Vikings and Native Americans, but we are working to incorporate the practices of other cultures in any way we can. We're looking for more roleplayers to help carry out this plot and help us further develop our storyline.

This will be a great roleplay for history buffs or anyone looking for something new and interactive. The majority of roleplaying will take place on a separate site dedicated to this storyline.

Are you looking for original characters? I may be interested.. would probably need to create a new C though

Original characters are preferred, but all that we really need is a face claim and a brief bio for them. No more than a few sentences that give a good understanding of the character - wouldn't want to waste any time that could be used roleplaying, yaknow? I wouldn't mind too much if you modeled your character after any canon character, as long as maybe you used a different name/face claim.

Okay would it matter if I have not seen The 100?

Not at all! Personally, I'm really interested in introducing people who haven't seen it - just for the sake of making this rp its own thing. I work on a lot of the cultural stuff for the tribes and I'd love outside input.

It's a little overwhelming with all the information being thrown at you at once, but so far its about 5 of us with some little rp threads killing time before we really get this plot started. Let me know if it's something you'd be interested in, and I'll get you acclimated!

Yes I think I'd be interested in this! let me get a character bio together. This is modern/futuristic type era? (I read your synopsis and it sounds as if technology is has gone back a bit though, lost by war/radiation?

Yes, exactly. This does take place in the future, but technology has definitely gone back to the iron ages. All that's really left of our time are dilapidated buildings. Things are very similar to the Vikings, but of course we're working to advance in whatever way we all find interesting.
