It says I have 8 out of 10 character slots left open. But I can't seem to understand, or forgot, how to make the last two? Or does that mean I already created them and I can't create more?

8 out of 10 slots OPEN means you have 8 slots open and you have only used two.

2 out of 10 slots open means you have used 8 and have 2 left.

But yes, what Pom said about the dashboard. Trust me, it took me a while to remember that and there are still times I forget.
