I've had an account here for a while, but I never knew what to do with it. It takes me a long time to find space to draw my characters. I love to draw interactions, and do art when it comes to RP, in fact its rather important to me.
Currently I only have a god in my character list. Mainly that is simply to establish the rest of the characters that will follow. I don't intend to play a god character. I have a witch on the way.
I generally play fantasy type RP, and don't really like to plan much. Sci Fi sometimes comes into the mix as well. I favor monsters a lot, so those might crop up quite a bit as I build onwards and upwards.
Hopefully I can get more characters to fill my basket, and get some takers on some RP!
If anyone has any pointers as to what groups or such to seek, that would be great!

Not all. Some are done in groups or PMs. Others take place off site using other various mediums (social media, chatting/video apps, games, ect).

Hello there, Forgess! While I've honestly never given Sci-fi a proper shot, I'm a huge fan of fantasy roleplay as well. I'm sure you'll find some amazing plot soon enough! As for groups, I actually do run one myself. It's a magic-Academy roleplay set in the medieval era, more a college setting than say, highschool though! As others have said, when it comes to starting RPs, most people start in the Looking For RP forum to find some other players. There's also a search tool that will help you find what you're looking for within that forum - click "Find RP" in the top menu, then "join game" then scroll to the bottom to adjust your preferences for game types. If you want more info on using that search tool, here's a handy help article.
If you end up joining someone else's RP, they'll let you know the details about how to join in.
If you're starting up your own RP, you have a few choices about how to proceed once you've found a RP partner or two.
By the by, you can use the "launch chat" button at the top and bottom of any forum topic, whether it's in a private group forum or our public RP forums, to turn your topic into a real time chat! There's also a link in the sidebar of private messages that will let you do the same.

This gives you access to profile building tools for the group, but also to creating your very own forums!
- In some cases, you and your RP partner might even decide to use some other messenger or game to RP on.
