Well, even though your post is like a week old and probably a rhetorical question anyway...I figured I'd answer because...well, I have an answer (regardless if it's the right one, lol):
You aren't the only shy one. In my experience, I've found a vast majority of peeps are just waiting for someone to sort of "lead" them in an RP discussion and/or plotting ideas. It really comes down to who's going to draw their weapon first. *shrug*
