Thank you for replying! I'm in need of tips for Daimyo Hermitaur. The thing's carapace is harder than a Gravios, not to mention that freaking skull... I really want to progress to H-Rank, but that thing's got me trapped. Any gear/item recommendations? (This is MH4U, by the by)
I actually do have a recommendation since I have beaten it before. I recommend using a greatsword with a green sharpness maximum that way you pierce through the carapace and do a decent amount of damage to it. Also exploding barrels work with a bowgun so I recommend that strategy too. And if you're able to capture it just make it easier on yourself and do that.
