Hello, hello. Been quite awhile since I last showed my unknown face. Anywho, right to business. I would like to find someone to rp with, using my character, Karla Lou Hanabi. It would be a continuation of what back story I have for her.
As a very breif summary to save reading time, she was a part of a homunculi raising project. She was raised to be a killer. Tortured, trained and honed to "the benefactor's" wishes. Her mind slowly developed to determine that the way they treated her felt wrong. She used what they taught her to escape and that's about all there is to it.
The rp will pick up after she has escaped, the era is the 1920s, specifically 1924, though the universe it is set in is significantly more advanced than what our own was at that time, sort of like the 1990s. (And there is no WW1/2 that has happened in this verse) Karla, bloody, battered and dressed in nothing but a tattered hospital gown makes her way to a small nickle mining town. Her appearance of course draws a lot of attention and word spreads quickly, will anyone do anything about it though? Also, will "the benefactor" let her go like the facility workers did, or will "the benefactor" pursue her?
Basically, it's an rp to teach Karla how it is to live in normal society, but thanks to her background, many issues, sometimes deadly, will arise.
I would like this to be a low fantasy setting, with minimal magic/powers. The time will be the same as when she escaped from the facility, January 28th, 1924, within a fictional Northern Ontario. Expect guns to be used alongside blades. Genres included will likely be, Action, Drama and Slice of Life.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

This sounds pretty interesting. Think this guy would fit the RP? I could simply change up a few things regarding him if needed.

Could be nice to have multiple pathes. I was planning on adding what happens in the rp to her lore, so options are nice. Psi does seem rather interesting, I wouldn't mind an rp with you as her.

Similarly like I said in the reply above, having options could be nice. Clint seems quite capable. Maybe this arc could be more dangerous.
I'm about to read your profile, but I'm quite interested in this. Fabes is pretty street-smart, but she's going to need some convincing before she makes a commitment to helping Karla.
I imagine the rp would start with Fabes doing something reckless like robbing a store and then running off, and Karla might see her and decide to follow, with nothing better to do. It'd go on from there.

Seems interesting. Only thing is well, Karla is badly injured and has minor hypothermia, cause being pretty much nude in a Canadian winter may do that to you. We can discuss things in pms if you'd like.
