Lately, I've heard from many of you that you're having trouble reaching the site on a particular device (say, just your mobile or just your desktop), and from others of you reporting for friends that can't reach the site at all. I'm so sorry this has been happening!

After double checking that all our settings were correct and unchanged, I escalated the issue to our host. I got this message this morning:

The issue you have reported has been identified as possibly being part of a wider problem affecting more than one customer. This support request has been opened to provide you collective updates as progress is made toward a resolution.

A workaround for the moment that should resolve your DNS issues is to update the DNS settings on your local machine. The following article will assist you in doing so.

Mac:

Windows:

We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience in this matter. We hope to provide a timely resolution to this situation.

So apparently we are not the only one and we'll hopefully have a fix shortly. If you have friends who can't reach the site to see this message at all, can you please pass the message along?

I'm not sure if the workaround they're offering will be of any use, but if anyone tries it, please let me know yea or nay on that! :)

I just received this from our host:

Thank you for your patience.

It appears that the investigation regarding this matter has been resolved and closed. You should no longer be experiencing any interruptions to DNS, and your services should function as expected.

Is it working better for anyone?
I just opened Chrome on my iPhone and went to an open tab that had the Repository, it redirected me to a search engine. It got me in here when I refreshed, though.

If it starts working on a refresh, that's a good sign!
It's only ever been a temporary issue for me. I haven't had a chance to gauge how long it happens, just that it has eventually started working again when it did.

I'll let you know if it happens again, though. Hopefully, it won't! ^_^
