I would love to do something based on modern magic, using my character Finn. In this society, I would like for magic to either be banned (as seen in his history) or unheard of/kept a secret. You could also play a mentor, someone to hears what Finn can do and offers to teach him/unlock more of his potential. There's a lot of way that this could go, and I'd love to hear about more characters people have and ideas as well!

Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Modern
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.

This actually looks pretty cool, I think a modern magic role play with a sense of danger could be really fun.
I have a few characters that might fit into this world, each of which would make for interesting stories if done right. These are namely Kera Vior'krasha, Orisa Lockheart and maybe Lei Hellin and Ven'Rhi. Feel free to have a browse of those characters (plus any other, though I don't know if they would fit. But you never know.) And send me a pm with your thoughts!

Yeah I dig this I could use my character Angel, she would teach Finn if that's ok . I like Angel to use magic, Anyway this would be great.
Your rp sounds great! My character Red should fit in this pretty well. But she dosent have magical powers.. would that still work? Red can act as some sorta protective friend to Finn. Red is a weredog (which is a human with dog ears and tail, along with canine qualities) She is quite strong but would never hurt a friend and can be seen as an outcast. Reply back on what you think.

Yeah, that would be fine! You don't have to be a Magician. Because of the way Magic is looked at, though, we'd have to work out how races like werecreatures would be seen. Feel free to PM me!
