Would anyone be interested in a Tolkien Role-play? I am currently looking for people who would like to take on Fili, Thorin, Dis, Balin, Dwalin and Oin in an AU setting where Thorin, Fili and Kili survive the Battle of the Five Armies. I have created a group and forum on the Repository where we can do this. (Of course, other scenarios are welcome, too, as I made the forum as a place where anyone interested in RPing in Middle-Earth can write.)

Would someone from Tamriel (Another fantasy world) fit in?

With some adjustment of the background, an elf or human character could fit in. I've seen some people create original characters and have different versions of them for each fandom they like to write in. I've not done it myself, so I don't know how well it works. I rped on twitter quite a bit and did some cross-overs with that but it was mainly things I knew about like Star Trek, and some Marvel characters. (When someone made a Calcifer account, I thought they were an OC and it was only later when I discovered the book and anime.) It was mainly for parody purposes, though. I must admit that I don't know anything about Tamriel and haven't read any new fantasy for a few years.

Tamriel is an Elder Scrolls continent where most of the adventures take place. It's a video game franchise I enjoy. I do have an elven character or two, but they are a Snow Elf and a Deep Elf (Dwemer (Common name), Dwarf (Not so common name)) The Dwemer are an (almost) extinct race that built magical technology and great machines, and Snow Elves (Or Falmer, for their turned brethren) are elves who dwell in Skyrim, one of the provinces of Tamriel, where it is constantly snowing and where the Chantry of Auri-El, their god, lies in ruins. I have two Argonian characters, as well, but they are not to be found in Middle Earth, to my understanding.

As I said, I'm not really familiar with Elder Scrolls and I'd like to keep the rp free from cross-overs. You're welcome to take on a canon character, create an OC, or adapt one of the character backgrounds to the Tolkien verse. (I am looking for people who are familiar with the books, not just the films. I also use Lord of the Rings Online as a guide for maps, and the less well-known groups like the Dunlendings and the Lossoth.) I find it difficult to write cross-overs seriously and it's even harder when I don't know anything about the franchise it is from.

Sure! No problem. I don't have any ideas for Legolas though, as most of my muses centre around the dwarves right now. If you go on to my character's profile, there is a link to the forum I made under the Show Game Tags link.
