This will be a simple Pokémon RP that takes place during the events of Pokémon Sun and Moon; preferably with Axl taking over the role of the main character. I'd prefer the RP to play around the same storyline, but have a few differences from the regular plot. One of the biggest plot points for Axl is for him to confess his feelings towards Lillie, while the Island Challenge, the Aether Foundation, Team Skull, and the Ultra Beasts would also play some major roles within it.
Be warned, spoilers do exist through the RP. I really don't care too much about what Pokémon are on your team; but since we're just beginning, I'd like to ask that you keep legendaries and mythicals off the team until we get the final trial complete.
I'm looking for 2-4 people to join me in a PM based RP that's hopefully long term. I don't need novels or anything, but I ask for at least a paragraph. Decent grammar and spelling are nice. I'm not perfect, but I just want an effort. Since it is Pokémon, extensive combat scenes are expected, romance is possible (as that is one of Axl's driving points). Anything else, just ask me. In addition to Axl, I'll be throwing Alex into this RP. Reply down below if you wanna join.

On a cool morning in Hau'oli City, the new citizens to the city and by extension to the Alola region were busy unpacking from their arrival the previous night. Axl, wearing his signature outfit of the black tank top with a Guns N' Roserades logo along with a matching hat and jacket and his black jeans along with his glasses, the man seemed ready for anything and everything that comes his way. Currently, the young rocker has dreams of becoming a world renowned musician and potentially train some Pokemon along the way.
So, what was this man's plan? To take on the island challenge that Professor Kukui had told him so much about. During his boat ride to the island, Kukui went on and on about the challenge, claiming it was a great way to learn more about Pokemon and a fantastic way to spread his music around. Why not do some travels while doing the two things loved? It seemed like a win-win situation and a great way to kill two Pidgey with one stone.
As him and his parents were unpacking, Axl found himself daydreaming about his journey, wondering what kind of Pokemon he would catch and train throughout his journey, what kind of music he'd perform. Would it be more like some along the lines of Guns N' Roserades' 'November Rain Dance' or something along the lines of Unova's 'Dust in the Tailwind'? That he hadn't decided yet; though he could also go for something like Metagrossallica's 'Rocket, Inc.'. He had so many choices, yet so little time.
As the day progressed, Professor Kukui made a sudden appearance at the family's house and properly introduced himself to Axl and his family. Seeming like quite the cool dude, Kukui and Axl became quick friends. Both had a love for Pokemon, though their music tastes differed quite a bit. Kukui much preferred artists like Chansey the Rapper and Justin Timberlake of Rage. After much discussion, Kukui and Axl had left the family's home and went to retrieve Axl's first Pokemon.
Meanwhile, On that morning, Alex was heading towards Melemele Island from Vermilion City, Kanto, deciding to travel through the Alola region in search of his sister, he was unable to find anything back in Kanto. Wearing his usual outfit, the trainer that looked suspiciously like the starting quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs that shares the same name as the young trainer. His outfit consisted of his usual tank top, white jeans, white jacket with a red suspicious looking arrowhead that is eerily similar to the logo used by the Kansas City Chiefs. His beloved Mew was resting upon his shoulder like usual, looking around the beautifully clear water that surrounded their ship.
As the day went on, Alex sighed, realizing they still had several hours before they arrived.. "Fantastic..." He shook his head. "Oh well, I suppose we'll have to wait." Mew gave him a defeated nod. "We'll find her soon, I'm sure." Alex assured the little Psychic-type. Nodding, the two began looking around the deck and seeing little harm in it, Alex decided to let his other Pokemon out for a little while.
The team consisted of a Snorlax that immediately laid down upon exiting his Pokeball and was out for a nap. Alex sighed and shook his head. "Sometimes I wish I could fall asleep like that." He joked. Besides the Snorlax, there was a Tentacruel and Gyarados that relaxed in the nearby pool, watching over the rest of the team. Venusaur napped nearby Snorlax, while Ninetales cuddled up to her trainer and the Mew, obviously just waiting for the park to open up.
Deciding to use the time they had until the boat arrived in Melemele Island, Alex got a small lunch ready for him and his team, he always enjoyed cooking and if it was to see his Pokemon happy, he'd do anything. After all, it was a Pokemon that had saved his life from certain doom just a few years prior. Getting some set out for his Pokemon, one could notice the wide array of differently sized bowls. Snorlax's bowl being nearly as large as Alex himself. It was a mystery how the man managed to carry all of the junk he did... As him and his team ate, he could occasionally be seen conversing with his Pokemon.
