18+ players ONLY. I am not interested in RPing romance/kinks. I'm just old and like playing with people of age.

In the last weeks I've met a lot of great roleplayers and their OCs, but I'm not sure if I've found the flavor of OC I'm looking for to be Alf's trash kid. I admit I'm being picky because this is someone I could potentially be spending a lot of my time with and putting energy into. If you're reading this and have Rped with me, this does not mean I'm not up for more RP in the future. I'm just narrowing my search. Finding a character that 'clicks' is pretty hard, it turns out!

So! I thought I would try a different route, something less open ended. I made an adoptable. I kept it pretty generic. It's meant to be a base, not a finished product. It's like a starter pokemon for a better OC down the road.

I want someone to roleplay this adoptable with me!
Yeah, that's what I want. I want to watch this OC grow into whatever you want to make it, and I want to Rp with it. I have specified some concrete details about him below, but I'll leave the rest up to you.

How do I adopt it?
You have to audition for him, and I have to approve it. Auditioning entails sending me a sample roleplay post. Write him as if he were yours. I will get back to you with a yes or no. I may ask to throw some posts back and forth before I decide. I apologize if it seems like a waste of time, but I have to take people for a test drive if the purpose of the adoptable is to Rp together!

How will I know the adoptable is mine?
I'll tell you, straight up. Please don't assume that it is. Not that I expect many people to be gunning for this dude. His design is pretty generic. It'll be the player who makes him who he is.

What happens if I adopt him?
He'll be yours. You can do whatever with him and you're welcome to use the art as a reference for him. No strings attached. (I just ask that you not resell the art).
And if you're going to Rp smut with him somewhere else, age him up appropriately.

You talked about concrete details, what are they, and can I make changes?
Here are the concrete details. These should -not- be changed for the RP version.

You get to pick his name.
Height: 5'8'' - over 6'. (It's funnier if he's taller than the other OCs he'll be played with, in my opinion).
Age: 15 - 18
Build: Slender but you can beef him up or slim him down if you want.
Fixed gender: Biologically male. Identifies as male. Sexual preference is up to you. (Not as concrete as it seems. I can be swayed with good OC development, and I don't care what you do with its gender in your personal story.)
I would like the personality traits listed on the image to stay intact, but obviously he'd have more going on. You're welcome to build on it.
Ideally he'll need some looking out for. I'd like to play my character Alf with him, and Alf would be his off and on guardian/trash dad.

That is what I ask of the ROLEPLAYED version. If you want a different version for your personal story, you can do whatever you want.

So what sort of RP should I expect if he becomes mine?
Urban fantasy. Fantasy. Panfandom. We do a lot of RP in Gotham City and Wreck it Ralph setting. Expect a mix of serious, silly and fluff.

What are your RP preferences?
I enjoy para RP with at least seven to eight sentences per post. I can't do anything with one liners. I need substance. I have been in way too many Rps that dwindled down to two liners and me carrying the story.
I like characters who react realistically. For example, if a vanilla human walks up to my ten foot tall monster man, he's not going to say 'hi'.

Good grammar. Good english. Good spelling. Good writing.

Availability after 8 pm central USA time is a plus.

I prefer to fire posts back and forth when we have time. I will do occasional slow posters, but they're not in my nature.

I require maximum OOC chill. I am not looking for jealous/possessive OOC types. Pls. No.

Ideally we would RP on discord. It's a free service that can be run from your browser.

How often would I have to be around to Rp?
A few nights a week, preferably. But I understand life gets in the way. This adoptable is not a ball and chain. I'd like you to try, but if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. You keep the kid and we go our separate ways. I may design similar bases in the future. So be prepared for that!

Send a post to my notebox. The sample post can be whatever you want it to be. Whatever you feel is right or would enjoy RPing, while keeping the concrete details in mind.

If by chance you become attached to the character you write but I don't give you the adoptable, well, that's why he's a generic boy. Sneak off with whatever you made. Just put it in a different shirt and don't use the art. See? Win/win.

I've enjoyed meeting all of you, and I think I'll be wrapping this up before I go back to work on Saturday. I've decided to pick two kids instead of one, in case one person gets eaten up by life. (You don't have to play with the other player if you don't want. I can juggle!)
