She entered the clearing where the house was sitting. Well, where the remains of the house was sitting. A sigh escaped her lips as she stood within the shadows that came from the surrounding forest. Home. It had been such a long time since she had been here. Why she came back she didn't have a clue. So she just stood there as the sun began to fall behind the ruins of the house, the shadows falling long on the ground as if clinging to the cool grass, begging the warmth of the sun to not fade away.
Standing in the shadows, she watched the woman that was once called her sister, a brow raising curiously. It had been too long since Alyssya had come home.. Memories of the last time they were together flashed through her mind..So many fights had.. The family gone.. Shaking her head she knelt down, letting fingertips curl into the soft earth. "You're back." She called out, voice echoing in the silence. There was no question there..Simply an observation, as if the place that had stood empty for so long now recognized another.
An emotion crossed her face as she heard the words that were spoken. "You're back", She thought about the words and wondered if she really was back. Her sapphire eyes roamed the scene before her once more, searching for the body that the voice belonged to. She then respoded calm and quiet, though her voice carried over to the other. "I suppose that I am back..."
She raised a brow, shaking her head. "To stay..or leave again?" The voice called out, her lithe form dancing from shadow to shadow, creeping closer to the one she knew as her sister. It had been months since she saw the woman, so she had returned here to wait for her.. And now she was glad she had..
She saw a shadow move from the corner of her eye so she stayed in her postion. The ruins of the house in front of her, the forest behind. This place had been her home for so long, her childhood home. There were so many memeories here. Some good. Some bad. She kept her wall up to keep the memeories at bay. An easy task since she had been doing it for so long. "I'm not sure...", she replied to the voice.
She slipped behind her sister, tapping her gently on the shoulder, a smile gracing her lips. "Good.." She whispered, glancing over the woman. At least she was looking well. From behind them, a large wolf appeared, looking as if it were created from the shadows itself. He padded up to the two and licked their hand, as if greeting old friends. "He's missed us..I think.." She said, laughing softly before attempting to pull her sister into a hug.
She turned towards her sister as she felt the tap on the shoulder, her sapphire blue eyes looking over her being. Then she turned towards the wolf and patted it gently on the head. "I'm sure he has missed us. It has been years since anyone of us has been home I believe." She allowed her sister to pull her into a hug and she allowed her being to hug back, softening up a bit around her sister and the wolf.
A smile crossed her lips, letting out a childish giggle as she curled arms tighter around the woman. "Aye..You know.. We could build this place back up.." She nuzzled the woman, looking up to her. "So.. Where do we start?" Releasing her, she stepped around Alyssya and moved towards the ruins of their old house. Everything had changed it seemed.. Vines grew over it, slowly taking back the land that was once theirs.. With a sigh and a twirl, she turned back to her sister, bouncing on her toes a bit.
She gazed at her sister and sighed. "You want to take this back? After everything that has happened here? What if it happens again. I do know if I could take that Sin." She watched her sister's face and wished that she could look at things like she could. That something so broken like their childhood home, could be fixed and healed once more.
