Hey there! My name is Era. I also go by Eros, Kodi, and a few other names that I've accumulated over the years. I've been roleplaying since I was 9 years old and have had a lot of experience over a vast array of platforms ranging from notebook and forum rp to various website and instant messengers.
I have a habit of making more original characters (hereby referred to as "ocs") than I can handle roleplaying. That said, I have several worlds I'm currently building as well and can be found off site and on tumblr if you look hard enough. I am also a full time freelance artist and personal caretaker for my mother, so my time active here will vary. That said, I do tend to be up quite late and run on Pacific Time, so I'll get to you when I get to you!

My prefered genres are all fantasy based, typically sci-fi fantasy. I also enjoy thriller/horror, comedy, tragedy, tragicomedy, satire, romantic, and moderate realistic genres. I don't do historical roleplays and I prefer having at least some magic or fantasy element to the roleplay (re: magical realism) because I just don't find anything outside of that interesting. Monsters are a HUGE yes, absolutely. I heckin' love monsters!

Rules and Preferences

Don't lie about your age. Seriously. I will block and report you. I've had people do this to me in the past and I don't like it, so please don't do it.
I'm a slow roleplayer. I have low energy constantly and I am busy a lot so I am not that great at keeping up unless I get super into/excited about a roleplay I have. It's not me ignoring you, promise. It's just me.
The longer the thread, the slower my reply may be. I'll roleplay any length, from quick one liners to multi-para, but I am very short in the stamina department and run a bunch of other roleplay blogs on tumblr so I'm slow.
I have a tendency to drop threads. I don't always let people know, though I'll try to be honest about it. If there's a thread you wanna keep going, please tell me and I'll keep it up unless I have no inspo for it!
I'll do multiple rps with the same person. Pretty self explanatory. Sometimes I just jive with people and sometimes it takes time. I also have a habit of wanting to do many things at once so that helps too.
My mind is always running, so I tend to just go with the flow. Plots are okay but I don't like planning every detail out. Let me be flexible! Sometimes characters change action on me! It happens!
I may draw art if a roleplay inspires me, but that does not mean I take requests or am available to draw art for you. Even hinting at "wanting to know what your oc looks like" and "wishing I'd draw you things" are not okay (outside a few contexts), so please don't bring it up. If you pressure me into making you art, I will drop you. That's that.
I do not ship or smut with people I do not know personally. Too many bad people ruined this for me so now I only trust those I've known for a long while. If we jive well, I may consider it, but don't roleplay with me hoping to get a ship or get into my character's pants.
I will not do kink related threads unless I am into that kink myself. Pretty self explanatory. Don't force kinks on me either. If I say no, it means no.
I tend to use profanity and more adult themes/humor in my work. I can withhold some of it for my rp partner's comfort, but I can't promise my profanity meter will be 100% off since I do slip up in that regard. Let me know, but please try to be gentle about it. I don't respond very well to rude remarks.
I am not my characters. While I try to keep my work appropriate and very on-top of things (not glorifying abuse, fighting negative stereotypes, ect), I am not my characters. They may slip up, or I may even slip up when they would not. I am very open to being told I've slipped up or that someone needs a topic changed, however, so I don't mind that a bit.
Please don't give me unsolicited critique or feedback. I will ask if I want it. Didn't ask? Don't want it. It's that simple.
