Lifelong fan of fantasy and creativity here. Been loosely engaged in rp for over 15 years, 5 years with more intensive and focused play. though due to personal issues I cut back my outreach and narrowed my focus even further. I've started to feel boxed in though, and would like to broaden my perspectives once again.

As a roleplayer I tend to focus on darker fantasy elements and character driven play where I might start from a simple premise and what-if(or "wait and see" as some have called it) my way into a long winding journey. Or trip over my own lack of pre-built setup and start over the next day with something less likely to fail. It seems to vary with the wind.

I do enjoy light hearted elements of play, often as a foil to the darker elements or a setup to better establish the darkness to come. I can excel with a villain character but might well prep the play with a hero to add depth to the nature of the villain who ends up in foil to the hero. I do dabble in topics of social justice while keeping historic awareness if I am playing in a realistic driven setting.

Duel-nature story and characters often crop up in my what-ifism as I play. A bit of storytelling could seperate a fairly woke social justice hero from a sociopathic core that will frighten the resident psychopath of the story. A very evil villain may have a deep background that Freud would need a box of tissues while reading into. Said villain my end up redeemed through the development of the story and end up a hero that saves the world he once sought to ruin. A simple innocuous side character early in a story may be the avatar of the galaxy's most famous hero, or the reincarnation of the most infamous villain not borne of hell. Only time and play will tell where anything goes.

Though I might open up on some personal notes if asked, I wish to express that I am only open to friendships that might develop with time should that occur, as I am not available for anything further. I know attachments can develop, but I wish to maintain a realistic viewpoint on the matter.

I do not know how long I have written alongside this man, time goes by so quickly when I am working with him in our stories and time drags by when he is gone. At times, I believe I am addicted to his characters, his dark mind, and the man himself. It almost feels like a dream; to be lucky enough to have the chance to write with someone so talented and I should be grateful for the time I am given. He is my muse, as I to he.

Thank you, my friend, for the delightful experience. - Bookworm
This guy's posts are a nice size, and his grammar is amazing. We haven't sent too many posts just yet, but I look forward to finding his replies in my inbox. His characters are interesting and distinct from each other in realistic ways.

Also, I have been pretty pause-y during this school year, and he has been very understanding about it. All in all, I'd say he's a pretty well rounded rper. - ilovedogs260
