My name is Lauren and at this point I'm 19 going on 20. I've been roleplaying for about 6 years now. I started roleplaying on the DeviantArt chats and have gone in and out of roleplaying depending on how much time I have. I've come to this site though with the hope that I'll find some steady rp friends and a constant stream of rps to join in on because I'm tried of starting rps and then watching them slowly die because I can't get on the chats for 3 hours a night. College just does not permit that for me.
I prefer slow building romances with a lot of action and possibly some drama, so long as it keeps life interesting. As far as the genre goes, I'm into a bit of everything though I tend to lean towards medieval, futuristic, or scifi. My post sizes depend on how much I get from the other person. On average though I can post a good solid paragraph of about 5-7 sentences. My starting posts are generally much longer so don't be intimidated by that.

1) Please try to post about the same sized post that I do. I understand things can get a little slow when there is only dialogue but you can still tell me little details like what they are doing with their hands, what they are thinking, where their eyes are looking, etc.
2) If you lose interest in the rp PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know. I may be enjoying the rp and not realize that you aren't. If you let me know we can take a break to brainstorm or if you just don't want to continue in the same direction we can think of a whole new idea. If you don't like my style then let me know that too. I'm not going to get pissed or mad that you don't like the way I write. Finding a good roleplay partner is like trying to find a boyfriend/girlfriend. Freaking difficult and if you don't enjoy my company the way I enjoy yours I understand. It's okay, I promise.
3) Help me with the ideas. I don't want to be the only one coming up with things to keep the rp alive. If I feel like you aren't helping things move along I will tell you and I also expect you to tell me if you feel the same.
4) Lets keep our writing professional. If we are just talking casually I don't mind if you abbreviate words, use text talk, or use slang. When roleplaying though please don't do that. The only exception is if the character is talking. If you want your character to use slang, by all means that is fine. Also, a slip up here and there is fine. Everyone has slip ups.
