You see, my muse takes a vacation and my mind goes blank when I attempt to write anything about myself. I'm just not my favorite subject - it's as simple as that. Oh, no! Here it comes! Yet another person setting rules on something that should just be carefree fun! You dang skippy I am! I do this in the interest of having fun, avoiding conflict and creating awesome RPs. To that end, I'm stating up front what is and is not acceptable to me and ensuring you know exactly where I stand.
[*] No God-modding - period! I realize you may want a story to take a specific path, which may require certain events. However, that doesn't mean you can temporarily take control of my characters anymore than I can God-mod yours. I put a lot of thought and work into my characters and, in most cases, I've had them for a good while. I know what they'll do, what they'll say and how they react - better than anyone else does (except perhaps my best friend). And believe me when I say, little in RPing irritates me more than someone taking over one of my precious babies and doing something that's so far out of character I'm fit to be tied. In fact, nothing will make me walk away from a story faster, so...let's avoid all the drama and leave my characters, their behavior and their deeds up to me. If you have an epic idea that requires specific events, message me, explain everything and I'll work with you!
[*] RP Styles - Honestly, I'm open to just about anything - just about. Unfortunately, there are exceptions. For example, I don't do fan fiction. Why? Even if I like the manga, story, TV series or movie, I'm just not comfortable writing someone else's creation. In short, I never feel like I do the creator's character...or the creator...justice, so I'll stick to my characters and original stories. I do enjoy fantasy, horror, contemporary, some Sci-Fi and even Yaoi. It's just easier to message me, explain your idea and state which of my characters you like. Currently, all the RPs I'm involved with are Yaoi and I enjoy that. So, if Yaoi is your thing, read over my characters and message me. Perhaps we can come up with an epic story!
[*] Weekends are mine! - Woah! Slow your roll! That doesn't mean I'm free to RP all day and night. Quite the contrary! I'm not usually available on weekends. That doesn't mean I won't post on weekends, but nor do I guarantee that I will. The most activity you're like to see out of me on Saturday and Sunday is RPing with my best friend. If I have the time, I'll do my best to respond to other posts, but don't get upset if Sunday night has rolled around without a peep out of me. I'll post Monday, I promise!
[*]Post Length - This form of RPing is much like writing a novel, at least to me. As such, when I write a post, I set the scene, describing my character's behavior, actions and expressions as well as what he says. As you can imagine, my post are far from short. While I don't expect you to compile a short story in your posts, I don't do well with single sentence responses or responses so short next to no detail or information is provided. This is yet another reason I'll walk away from a story, especially if I find myself struggling to come up with a response because there's too little for me to work with. So, if you're interested in RPing with me, keep in mind I work best with in-depth posts that take time and thought to create.
[*]The World of Yaoi - I cannot say enough just how much I love Yaoi. In fact, it's all I'm currently writing. Unfortunately, I can't find enough partners. lol If you're a fellow Yaoi writer and you think our styles match, message me. I'm sure we can figure something out between the two of us. Right now, the only characters I have listed are uke, but don't let that discourage you. I have a few doms that'll knock your socks off, I promise. Just keep this in mind. I like long detailed posts, I'm picky about my partners, I'm not shy about intimacy and I'll try just about anything once. I do have my limits, but you won't find out what those are until you message me!
If you message me with a request to RP, I assume you've read all of the above. Yes, I know, it's a lot to read...but my posts are the same way! In short, do us both a favor and read over everything so you know what to expect from me and what I expect from you!
