  • Talents/Abilities: Immortal, of the "die and resurrect" variety. This also give him considerable pain tolerance.

  Keith has had a hard life. Having lost all his money to his gambling addiction, he bets the last thing he has: his life. So when he loses, there's a quiet, unceremonious beating in a back alley. Left with multiple broken bones and a punctured lung, it doesn't take long for his unfortunate life to end.
  
  An hour later, he suddenly takes in a sharp breath, sits up, and prepares for another shot in his new life.
  
  This "life(-and-death-)style" has been going on for quite a while. Even Keith himself isn't sure how long. It all comes to an end one night, where a man by the name of Micheal Roberts takes a different interpretation of the bet: Keith, having lost the bet, will work for him. This mostly involves looking after Roberts' young daughter, Claire, who has an alarming ability to get into trouble.
  
  Keith still isn't sure whether it's better outcome or not.
