• Biography

  All dragons are warm-blooded reptiles, with an elemental connection. Fire dragons are the most common, with water and air dragons the next most common. Earth dragons are rare, although other, rarer dragons exist, such as metal, spirit and even (it is rumoured) dragons of time.
  
  Granlex's parents were both earth dragons, although her father's mother was a fire dragon. Using this affinity with earth and fire, her parents made their home in a volcano, holding it dormant while their children grew up. The pair raised two clutches of eggs, and Granlex is the youngest of the second batch. Her older brothers and sisters (7 in all) have all grown up, left home and settled down to raise young of their own. Granlex herself was content to stay at home, but her parents eventually threw her out (as gently as possible) and helped her settle in a cave of her own. They hoped that the comparative loneliness of her new home would encourage her to find a mate. All the actually happened was that Granlex threw herself into earth-crafting, and the study of golem creation.
  
  ((OOC: I'm inventing my own type of dragon here, not sure if that's allowed. I had a whole culture mapped out for them on another site (which fizzled, sadly) and I'd like to get a chance to play the character out, if there's a game that can accommodate her.))
