• Description

  
  
  Upon first glance he would appear to be a slender black cat with golden eyes and a gaunt look on his face. His head is crowned with loose dark red hair; a natural shade judging from his matching brows. All of that would be accompanied by scarified marks across his entire body, always in strange occult patterns.
  
  His craft as an spellcaster of some sort would be apparent, indicated by the assorted trinkets and talismans he wore. Around his neck hung a variety of amulets and adornments varying from ornate silver and gold pendants to the skulls and bones of small animals. His ears were pierced with small gold rings, which dangled further bits and baubles of varying worth. His wrists were ornamented with an array of bangles and bracelets, and his fingers sported a mixed set of rings and bands. He carried no obvious tool of magical focus, like a wand or staff, though keen-eyed observers could spot the gilded pommel of a dagger hiding inside of his robe.
  
  His clothing was notably loose on him. What was once some sort of open-front robe had been reduced to a long sleeveless vest-like garment, the sleeves having long since tattered away. His trousers were thick dark wool, mended in several places with mismatched patches. His boots were rugged leather with large iron buckles. His ensemble was held together by use of a red silken sash around his meager waist, upon which he kept an assortment of satchels and pouches for what belongings he couldn't fit into his otherwise deep pockets.

  While his methods range from archaic and crude to blatantly unorthodox, he prides himself on his ability to keep pace with and even exceed traditionally taught mages. He does have some formal schooling in the arcane, but the majority of his knowledge is self-taught resulting in an approach to magic that is largely informal yet highly functional.
  
  Though he is capable of casting conventional spells, his finest work comes in the form of elaborately crafted rituals. By carefully arranging material components combined with traditional low wizardry, he can perform and replicate truly powerful arcane feats.
