  A mischievous grin on his lips. "I am called Miles Cunnin."
  
  Twin two tailed vulpines grew in the wilds for the majority of the years of their youth. With tactful and clever decisions, they learned to avoid the harsh truths but with curiosity and ingenuity, learn the soothing embrace of Mother Nature. Survivng off the lands for some long, the two only knew of each other and the world as a natural order of things until one day, they witnessed a town being built near the wilds that the two called home.
  
  Still being the curious lads they are, the two would venture into the town at night, using the cover of shadows and buildings to sneak about to quench their curiosity that at times, the two will hide within buildings to watch men and beasts go about with the daily routines of a town. The two would watched from their hiding spots for several days, learning the ways of men until they were able to speak from watching traders barter, arithmetic and literature from the scholars, and basic magic from the sages.
  
  Several years have passed until the young fox cubs grew into young adults that they decided to make a game of the town, causing mischief in secrecy with they minor magic abilities, swift sleight of hands, and other natural abilities to play pranks on the people until one day, the pranks have gotten out of hand that the people of the town have decided to search out for the mysterious tricksters which made the two twin vulpines annoyed, thinking the town is no longer any fun and decided to travel by following the dirt roads left behind by travelers.
  
  As they traveled from one town to the next, the two continued playing their dangerous jokes within each civilization, believing that their cunning and ingenuity kept them out of the laws' hands as they toyed with the lives of the people of towns, villages, cities, and so on. Unknown to them that there was one person following their trail of mischief.
  
  After playing a grand prank on a powerful king, the two rush out of the castle to escape the guards and it's infuriated king. Using the crowded environments of a tightly packed city that surrounds the castle, the two almost have escaped only to fall into the trap on the outskirts of the city but not at the hands of the guards but a traveling vagabond who was hired from the first town the twins had played a prank on.
  
  Instead of being brought to justice by the vagabond, he thought it would be better to teach the two the way of the sword and honor so he raised the twin tailed brothers as his sons and named them after the personalities and abilities that the two have. Thus, they were named the Miles Cunnin brothers.
  
  More years have passed as the vagabond raised the two, teaching them about tactics of battle and war that the fruits of labor and training soon became apparent when the two assistant the vagabond with bounties that it was time for the three to split their ways. The vagabond will return to the first town, to report that the two were 'killed' by the men their played pranks on in some village. The youngest Miles decided to head north, to learn about honor of the sword and become a knight. The oldest went south, to experience the world and all of its diversity.
  
  The tales you are about to read is about the oldest brother, the one who chose to travel to the south. He learned and experienced many things that would changed his life for the better and the worse.
  
  He battled against hordes of orcs that tried to invade a city, standing side by side with knights of honor and experienced victory. He fight alongside other heroes against the rampage of an undead army and experience total defeat, being the lone survivor having to retreat after a large village of farmers were over-runned and destroyed by the walking undead army of a lich. He tasted second chance when he united a new band of heroes who fought their way to the lich lord himself and bring down the striking blow to stop the threat of an undead army. He embraced love by finding a lover who birthed three sons. These feelings is what made him a better person even the light must fade at some point.
  
  One day, when he was out hunting to bring food to the table, his world was shaken to the core when he had returned to his home.
  
  He felt the pains of loss as he found his home burnt and his wife slain outside, his sons no where to be found. He felt the burning desire of fury and revenge as he searched out the ones who destroyed his family and all involved which began his descent into darkness. During his travels, he gathered information to learned that the commands were from his rich tyrant king that wished to kill any who did not pay taxes that lived on his lands and to kill those who refused to acknowledge the tyrant as their king. Miles begin his mission to kill any who were involved with such a man, from the soldiers that killed the innocent to the to tyrant king himself. During his travels, Miles had slaughtered guards and their families. Nobles who shared the king's blood. Spilled blood of wives and children. It took several years for Miles to work his way up to the king that he became known as White Death, the assassin in white clothing. They were not wrong. With each kill, Miles' targets improved their defenses and securities that Miles had to adapt to his settings, becoming more lethal with each target.
  
  After fighting his way through a gauntlet of guards, mercenaries, and spell casters, Miles succeeded at his goal. He claimed the tyrant king's life but after that moment, his fury subsided and he realized how much time has passed. He last track of years and shed so much blood that his sword was dyed red from so much death. Standing above the body of the dead king, he noticed that he had gathered other assassins and formed an organization which called themselves The Court of Miracles, assassins who fought for the commoners. With them, he realized that he learned new magic as well forged equipment for his assassinations. Miles realized that he became what they killed him. White Death, reaper of white and leader of the assassin organization, The Court of Miracles.
  
  Upon returning to the Court of Miracles, he denied the crown and told the assassins to uphold their creed of honor without him. With those words, Miles left to wander the world to learn that everything he knew was in the passed so he must learn to adapt to this world that is now full of magic, myths, and might.
  
  During these travels of relearning the world, Miles has encountered things that his younger self will never believe. Sent to hell to save a soul before his soul was taken, to make pacts with elder dragons, to wage war on heaven to prevent the eradication of life on the planet, to trick a contract devil for everlasting youth, be tricked by feys to retrieve artifacts, challenge a reaper to a game of intelligence, obtain an ancient artifact with a mind of it's own and so on. Events that not even bards can conjure with their play of words.
  
  After several more years have passed, Miles now lives the life of a traveling swordsman like his father figure who raised him. Knowing that he is neither a hero nor a villain, just a man with a sword who has seen the light and shadow of the world. As he continues to travel, he wonders if he will ever find a place where his past stays behind and that he might begin a new life as a simple craftsman of some kind but until then, he moves forward. Knowing that one day, he might wear the mantle of White Death once more, using all the arcane arts and natural abilities to challenge hell, bring the heavens down, and to bring Gods to their knees while remaining a mortal man that still bleeds.
