  Markings: Silver-white from the back of the shoulders all the way down to mid-ass.
  
  Body Type: Toned, athletic frame of medium build. Wider at the chest and shoulders, evenly muscled throughout.
  
  Scent: Cedar-wood, mahogany, leaves and spiced-oranges.
  
  Scars: Long streaks down the face of varying thickness. One thin scar from brow to chin diagonally over the nose. A thicker scar down the right eye and cheek. One of medium thickness across the left side of the mouth causing it to have a constant sneer. Additional scars of varying thickness across the abdomen, arms and back.
  
  Tattoos: A tattoo over the heart of the Sherazi family crest in pale cream white ink. On the opposite pectoral is a tribal tattoo, also in the same white ink, that curls from the edge of the shoulder across the chest. The end of the tribal tattoo curls around the antler's of stag crest.

  Attire:
  Rhys is as dour as his charge is showy. His attire mainly consists of black, black, black and more black. The only other variation in color to this wardrobe is a rare spot of white, reserved solely to the undershirt. The male can be seen dressed formally when at work in the colder months, with the exception of a white shirt beneath that of his vest. This often varies. During his time off Rhys dresses more casually, sometimes choosing to dress in black leather pants and a simple shirt, the latter sheer enough to see his tattoos and piercings through, sometimes paired with a vest or a black cloak. Even when wearing a hooded cloak the gorilla prefers to cast his face into shadow via a wide-brimmed, black leather hat. On warmer days he can even be seen wearing a black leather loincloth and not much else!

  Hunter & Tracker:

  Used to the wild terrain of the Congo, Rhys feels most at home outdoors and in the forest. He tracks his prey from the shadows of the treetops. Although he does not eat meat personally, he helps provide his family with it when needed and he makes use of every part of the animal's he hunts. What he doesn't keep is sold off at market.

  
  

  Agility & Acrobatic:

  Unlike the traditional silverback that lives in groups, Rhys has not lived among his own kind in more than a decade. Because he is a loner he keeps to the trees while those in large groups prefer the ground. His preference for swinging through the trees keeps him lean and limber. These skills serve him best in evading attacks from opponents or the prey that he hunts.

  
  

  Hand-to-Hand Combat:

  It is very rare for the gorilla to engage in a fight to the death, although he is not above doing so when absolutely necessary. He prefers to fight hand to hand, and when necessary, disarm his opponent of their weapons. Very rarely does he fight with knives, however he carries them concealed on his person at all times. His personal choice to avoid fighting with blades is the reason for his many scars obtained by his opponents.

  
  

  Clear Headed:

  Rhys is very calm, slow to anger and quick to cool down. Very few things rile him up to the point of being considered reckless. Even in situations regarding the safety of his charge he stays level-headed, preferring to get her out of danger rather than to jump into a fight that is not his own. However, direct threats or attempted attacks on his ward result in swift retribution - and so happens to be one of the few things that can anger him fully.

  
  

  Observant:

  Given the gorilla so dislikes joining in on conversations he spends most of his time out and about listening to the chatter going on around him. This helps to keep himself informed, as well as his family. It also serves as personal amusement to the male.

  Personality: One could easily call Rhys, "cold," "curt" or even "off-putting". He is the brooding silent type with a stoic appearance to match - which is only disturbed by the scar on his lip giving him the appearance of a constant sneer. Shrewd, meticulous and quietly calculating. His voice gives little indication of his mood for it is very often set in an unaffected, even, rumbling tone. Rarely seen to be truly relaxed or even carrying on in steady conversation outside of his immediate "family." Over time and longer acquaintance he becomes less closed off in speech, and even on occasion shows subtle changes in his expression.

  Loves: His charge Ameera, reading, playing cards or chess, listening to music, strong ale, hunting, climbing, swimming, apples, oranges, cold weather, "people watching," using his observations to get into another's head, leather, the outdoors, nervous/flustered men and women.
  
  Likes: The night, swimming, quiet and soft-spoken furres, cold temperatures, gambling, his extended "family" (Arator & the Drakes), Haani, working up a good sweat, heavy rain, thunder, Brothel's.
  
  Dislikes: Rudeness/disrespect to his charge, dancing, being hounded into meaningless conversation, fashion, being touched without invitation, leaving his charge unguarded unless she is with her mate, hot temperatures, pumpkins, eating any form of meat, listening to the sound of his own voice.
  
  Hates: Being called a "Monkey", loud obnoxious furres that insist on "jabbering" at him, pushy furres, threats to his charge's safety, showy furres, idiotic individuals who challenge him.

  Rhys has Achromatopsiap, a rare vision disorder that results in being able to see no colors. He will often avoid mentioning the color of anything if asked, often finding some other manner of description.

• Description

  Gargaare... Towering over most at 6'0, straight as a pin, this Silverback Gorilla is as dour as his counterpart is flashy! Shoulder length silver-white dreds are left to hang loose around a broad chest and a handsome, however scarred, visage. Angular features are accentuated by the glint of silver at the nose, chin and throughout each ear, allowing vibrant sapphire hues to stand out further in stark contrast to rich onyx fur. Muscled form is kept simply clothed in fitted, majorly black attire. Loose fitting trousers are paired with a belt and an obvious blade handle tucked just out of ready sight. Plain leather boots and a crisp white shirt are often paired with a black cloak or vest. Shrewd and calculating eyes are often shadowed beneath the cover of a wide-brimmed, leather hat. Ever present stoic expression seems only to be altered by a forced sneer, courtesy of one well placed scar along the upper lip. Not one for "small-talk" it would appear that this brooding gorilla is not the welcoming sort ...The Aamusan
