• Description

  Humanoid Form:
  
  He has light scaling on the bridge of his nose, forehead (hairline), above his brows, on hands, and feet. His hair is kept short and sometimes is shaved on both sides and let to grow slightly longer on top. His ears are pointed, and he has light feathering on his elbows, shoulders, neck, face, and more feathering near where his wings attach--just above his shoulder blades. He has two sets of pectoral muscles, one for his arms and one for his wings. His wings have clawed "thumbs" which help for holding onto surfaces. He also has some tail feathers near the base of his spine.
  
  He has a cloaca, like in his dragon form, thus making his genitals inside his body (like reptiles and birds). His mother's species is actually a subspecies of European harpy. He's inherited the scaling on his body from the harpies' feet and hands, though the scaling on his face likely appeared instead of horns, like his father [dragon] has.
  
  His skin is cold to the touch, but it can vary in temperature depending on his mood or environment. His bones are nearly hollow (and porous), similar to a bird's, so he is pretty fragile, but he is also not very heavy because of that (making it much easier to fly). He cannot carry too much weight while flying, and if he does carry something a bit too large (like more than one human), then he cannot fly very far.
  
  When in hiding, Alexis's wings are essentially bound to his back, which can be uncomfortable for extended periods of time. Thus, he tries to stay away from the public eye as much as possible, so his wings don't get sore and stiff. In somewhat warmer areas or during the summer in cold locations, he'll wear ice packs, tucked away in his jacket, to keep his core temperature cold.
  
  His internal anatomy is similar to birds, in that he has a pair of lungs, as well as six pairs of air sacs that fill with air to help him stay airborne. He can use liquid from glands that are like sweat glands and salivary glands in order to freeze opponents or form ice shards with which to defend himself. He can only do that in cold temperatures, however, and when he's fully hydrated.
  
  Dragon Form:
  
  In his dragon form, he has a nictitating membrane (third eyelid) in his eye that keeps it from being damaged and cleans debris out. His humanoid form doesn't have this. His tail is sturdy and short, thus making it easier to steer when flying. When he becomes a dragon, his skin becomes more leathery and darkens, growing more scales where they are on his humanoid form. He's about the size of an elephant, though he doesn't weigh even slightly as much.
  
  His design is based off of a gyrfalcon and other northernly birds of prey. When he is threatened or giving warning cries in his dragon form, the sound he makes is less of a mammalian roar and more of a screech, kind of like an owl or hawk. Unlike birds, however, he has a full set of reptilian, pointed teeth.
