  Durges, in all respects, is a debt collector. The dog who knocks. His allegiances are ambiguous, but he is the nightmare of all patrons, and serves as the hot iron to cauterize the loose ends of unpaid loans and dodgy deals. Behind loose trouser bracers and hazed eyes, no one is quite sure at what point Durges lost his morals - or his name - and Durges will tell tales of neither. He cares only for payment and honesty, and the rest is all just part of the deal. Broken bones, shattered joints, pulled teeth, peeling skin... Patrons can beg and lie for their tarnishing of an agreement, but all such things fall short in the eyes of Durges' concept of truth and fairness.

• Appearance
  
  Durges is all-in-all, of average build and appearance. He isn't particularly tall or heavily built, and is instead quite lean in stature with some signs of athleticism across his body. His complexion is pale, and his eyes are of an amber-brown, narrow and piercing in shape. His hair is dark and well-kept, cut short at the sides in a sharp undercut, accented by an almost full fringe which hangs loosely over his brows.
  
  He is usually dressed in rough formal attire, composed of a crisp white shirt with black trousers and braces. He generally doesn't fasten the top two buttons, nor does his tighten the braces, resulting in a particularly unkempt and tired appearance. His trouser pockets jingle with loose chains, and several pairs of disposable black gloves.
  
  Personality
  
  Durges is a cruel man, and could be simply pinned as nought more than a street scumbag. But his mind and inner workings are complex, and his persona tweaks as his surroundings constantly change. He spends his earnings on cigarettes, hotel rooms, and the occasional solo night at backstreet bars; preferring to never stay in the same place for longer than he is needed. As a person, he is a reserved and calculating individual with a grim sense of humour, knowing full well how to use words to worm his way under people's skin. Despite his unsettling occupation and gruesome activities, Durges takes pride in clean clothes, and is never be willing to be seen with a stained or bloody shirt.
  
  On days away from work, Durges indulges in Jazz music, and has found himself to be quite fond of singing. On the contrary, he hates milk, despises birds, and absolute cannot stand the colour green.
