• Origins

  Around 1050 years ago, scientists who had time jumped from the future, summoned a Demon with their technology. They assigned this demon with the name 'Adeps' and told him they had summoned him to deal with a threat of incredible power they referred to as Project S. They told this demon that if he succeeded, he would be rewarded, and hailed a hero. 21 Years later, he met this Project S, but was defeated and imprisoned in a pocket universe... A thousand years later, he was freed... But had he learnt anything?

• Backstory

  "Oh, uh, wha? You want me to talk about myself? Aight, here's the deal. Picture this: I'm just chillin' with my pops, and suddenly... There's a huge explosion of light, and then I'm stood in some horrible looking place..."
  Adrian G'normanihk, otherwise known as Adeps G'nihk, is a Demon from another Universe. He used to live with his Father, Akirun Saalvati. He was happy living that way. He was well-known amongst the others, and he had... difficult relationships with his mother. One day, while spending some quality time with his father, his life changed forever...
  
  "Those humans... they called themselves the Organisation. They were a group of time-jumping scientists conducting some messed up experiments. They summoned me to do their bidding."
  Adrian suddenly just... disappeared in an explosion of light. His form shifted as he passed through the universal barrier, causing him to transform into a horrifying weavile-like creature. The Universal Jump, however, tortured him to insanity. He stood over the humans as they explained it to him, twitching like he was having constant spasms. He reluctantly agreed to their terms, and headed off on a 21 year hunt to find this 'Project S'. But Project S didn't know he was coming
  
  "Of course, when I met up with the guy he kicked my ass. But that wasn't enough for him. Instead of sending me home to my Dad, he did something even worse..."
  Adeps finally found who he had been looking for... The Project told Adrian that he wasn't supposed to be there... He offered Adrian a chance to change his mind, and do the right thing. Adrian refused, and the two then engaged in a vicious fight, before suddenly, the Project gained the upper hand, and defeated the demon... The jewel atop the Project's head began to glow vibrantly as Adeps felt his surroundings change... Before anything else happened, some words echoed in his head. 'All that power, but you're on the wrong side... May you gain the light of redemption during your forced exile, Adrian.' Then everything went dark...
  
  "A thousand years I was confined, alone... Nothing... Nobody. I was truly alone... And it tortured me. There were times I just wanted to-..."
  Adrian sat there... Over the years, his thoughts cleared up... He began to calm down, and his insanity began to slowly fade... He waited... However, there was still a connection of sorts between him and the project, and on very very rare occasions, during fights, Adrian would... give him advice. The Project would hear everything he said, and one day, the Project responded to him talking. The Project told him that he didn't want what happened to happen... He then explained the truth, and Adrian listened to him. The two started talking more, and it made Adrian's time more bearable... But Adrian was still angry about what Speda had done to him...
  
  "My freedom came at a shock, to say the least. I honestly thought I was going to be there forever, but... when I was freed... Things just went downhill... But then I met her..."
  Adrian, too unfamiliar with the modern world, signed up for some gladiator tournament, to do the only thing he was ever really good at. Fight. But to the death? He was unsure of. He hated humans. They took him away from his father, created some super powered god thing and organise these sorts of things simply for the violence and to watch someone die... But when it came down to his first fight... He was up against a female... The first one he had seen in around a thousand years...
  
  "The fight went on, she wiped the floor with me, but when she realised that I was seconds away from death, she did the one thing I never expected... The act of kindness that changed me into who I am... she stopped fighting... and... she saved my life... Nobody had ever been that nice to me since before I was summoned."
  She kept telling him to hold on and to focus on her voice. Adrian was incredibly confused... He asked her why and she told him fighting wasn't her thing. She began to heal him as they kept talking. He told her bits and pieces of his story, which had become an urban legend around the local area. He asked her a question.
  
  "I asked her... 'I have done... unforgivable things in my life... yet still you're saving my life... why...?'... She told me that nobody deserves to die when they are as misunderstood as I was... and then for the first time in around 1001 years, and the event that caused a repeated failure. I broke my nose on the way down into her underground home..."
  Adeps asked the female who she was. The Female reluctantly introduced herself as Hana. As time went on, Adeps completely recovered, and using his mysterious Jewel-forming abilities, he created a crystal sculpture of Hana to thank her for all she had done for him... Adeps often went to visit her, and their friendship just got stronger and stronger. And then, one day... one fateful day... He went all the way...
  
  "We were having a romantic picnic on a field just in time for the flower blooming season, and... we sat atop the hill, watching on... and I got out a small box from in the picnic basket and..."
  He spoke to her, in the calmest tone he had ever spoken in... He told her he owed her for saving his life those few years back, but having stolen his heart, she owed him a little. He then told her, if he had her hand, in marriage, whilst getting down onto one knee, that they would be eternally even. Tearfully, Hana accepted Adrian's proposal, and they kissed.
  
  "Before the wedding though... we were on a stroll through a park, when Hana had gone to get us some ice cream... I found something that made me so angry, so sad... I had to act."
  He found a baby Pichu, one that looked like it had been born about a day or two before then... His anger swelled, as he walked over to the Pichu, and slowly lifted her. She was cold. VERY cold, and very nearly dead... He saw there was an amulet she was wearing that had the name 'Sarina' written on it. He spoke to her comfortingly, hugging her. He took her over to Hana and BEGGED her to help him care for the child. Hana agreed and the two went home with their new daughter, Sarina.
