Eien Rychel Kazuma

Born to some family that moved to a moderately-sized trading town, Eien recalls only bits and pieces of her past due to an event which remains unclear - though does seem to hint at an accident with perhaps less-than-coincidental circumstances and the clear involvement of a particular powerful spirit or deity. Having reforged her identity and worked towards the city and institute she now resides in, the girl has grown into a well-practiced mage, academic, and healer.

In recent years, Eien has come to appreciate more and more the value of community and of her newly-shaped life, spending time volunteering where she can in treating the various ailments and wounds of not just civilians, but of guards and soldiers as well. She has come close to fully determining her path, though a clear call for adventure and travel while still young does dwell within her. Perhaps out of a fear for the unknown or an appreciation for what she's built up in this place, as of yet Eien has not approached any guild or group to investigate those opportunities beyond the thick city walls. That said, one would be wrong to assume her completely unpracticed in the rigors of life in the wilds - a few missions and select trips have seen the woman exposed to combat, that saying nothing of her years of hard work in coming to the city and its arcane institute in the first place. Certainly, she is not without a knack for self-defense.

While those hardships are behind her, there is a stirring of some forces in motion - those that would be keen both in confirming that certain facts remain hidden, and those eager for a potential windfall towards their own goals or self-promotion. To the means that Eien would play a part in such matters, to her the mere possibility of it is completely beyond the horizon... for now.

While at peace within the city, her spiritual sensitivities can at times raise an episode of greater stress or concern. Fickle and mischievous beings abound within the institute more so than outside of its walls, even within the city itself. These can create unnecessary added work, or lead to even greater trials and difficulty. Her requests for their removal repeatedly denied, Eien has for now thankfully had her own quarters warded against such spirits. Still, she has of late gained a few hints of troubling auras - those even darker and even maleficent rather than being the more preferable pranksters by comparison. Somewhat wary but not overconcerned, she has for now chosen to believe that these few experiences were due to her being in a bad area - though Eien remains alert for any future evidence towards their presence.


Her magic affinity is to restoration, wind and light elemental magic, divination, illusion, and telepathy.
