Elfifi Elfi

I was adopted and raised on the first reflection, taken in by the Chief and his wife in Tomera, Khalusia. I was generally an easy going child who loved working with my mother in the medical ward. I got the privilege of learning healing magic as well as potion making from her.

As a young adult, nightmares had begun consuming my nights and eventually consumed my very being. I found myself missing hours at a time and hearing stories of things I had done to others. Desperate to make things right, I sought out the Warriors of Darkness in hopes of getting help.

I ended up finding an interest in the Warriors of Darkness and wanted to follow in their footsteps against the flood of light that was beginning to swallow our world. I traveled with them and practiced my own magic between fights as well as putting my mother’s practices to good use.

My journey with the Warriors of Darkness was interrupted abruptly when I agreed to go to the Source ahead of them. As I’m sure you can imagine, it didn’t go as planned because I landed in Limsa Lamensa with no follow up like I was promised. So I tried looking for my own way home and set sail for Old Sharlayan.

There I found refuge with the Students of Baldesion. I made many friends there whose loyalty has proven the test of time thus far. Krile, the twins, and G’raha were all Scions I met back then. I also got to know Ahnri quite well, she always seemed to have an interest in me or maybe it was I who was drawn to her and her affinity with dragons.

I finally found a lead which pulled me back out into the rest of the world. During my time abroad, I not only became a Warrior of Light but my first real mission was with G’raha and his expedition team. Sycrus Tower was a wild experience that ended in heartbreak.

From there, I almost wandered aimlessly. My mind, well it fractured further. Days would pass with no memory of its happenings. Eventually, I found myself thrown into the aftermath of the Dragonsong War. Hurting people everywhere and so I did what I knew best, I healed, I helped feed, and I loved on people in their greatest time of need.

With the Dragonsong War finished and Ishgard finally able to focus on itself. I ventured off to look for a solution to my ever growing problem. I sought out help with practitioners in traditional medicines but they all kicked me out of their offices within a session or two. I even tried to reach out to the Thaumaturge’s guild in hopes that they could help quell whatever darkness plagued me. Their only response was that they preferred the name Adora and the guild would be of no use to me.

With no luck in Uldah, I decided to take a break and go sight seeing. On that trip, I met a Roegadyn named Strom. He was the merry sort and we became good friends. He always reached things for me that were too high while I climbed in the small holes for him. Eventually he mentioned a new up and coming Free Company that was in the works of rebuilding. They were located in Gridania and well their leader Arteliex might just be able to help me with my problem.

So I took his advice and left for Gridania. I learned two things from that man: never drink the hooch he offers you, It does strange things like turn you into a Miqo’te temporarily, and if you work hard enough you can get paid well for even the simplest things.
