    Gumi is a mature Vocaloid, presumably seventeen years of age. She's known throughout as a wonderful vocalist, consistently rivaling and even surpassing on one occasion, Hatsune Miku (based on Nico Nico statistics).
    She is also known as the mascot or avatar character of Megpoid, AKA the manifestation of the voice produced by the software.

    Megpoid was first released in Japan, on the 25th of June, 2009, by INTERNET Co. Ltd. Gumi herself was created and is alternately described as the mascot of Megpoid, AKA the manifestation of the voice produced by the software.
    Years later, on the 28th of February, 2013, she made her English debut in North America and Europe.
